The spectacle of the most recent Garmont Assembly has revealed the shortcomings of the liberal despotism that is believed to be the optimal mode of government. It is not Our intention to see a repetition of this practice emerge from any compromise or victory that results in the cessation of hostilities. It is not Our mandate to serve as sovereign for any great period and cement the House of Valfleur as another dynasty in a ceaseless cycle. To affirm Our promise to Our late father and the Petran Republicans that have rallied to Our banner, We will confer upon them the powers of the state and so in the process relinquish Our own immediately upon the end of the current strife of the Heartlands.

 

We demand that Charles of Aaun and Adalia of the Petra accept the provisions of the document entitled Demands of the P.R.F as a basis for future unity and the aversion of war. We will accept no peace that is not predicated on the Republican principles that will guide our Heartlands forward, nor will We fight alongside those who wish to assert the despotic powers of the monarchy after peace has been brought. There will be no future for the Heartlands except for a united, Republican one built upon the rule of law, a representative government, and a ratified constitution. We urge Charles of Aaun and Adalia of the Petra to agree to the Peteran Republican Forces' compromise and the creation of a Constitutional Convention to unite our Heartlands and move forward into the Republican era. Furthermore, We pledge Our support to whomever shall act to rebuild the Heartlands in a shared Republican ethos and promise to facilitate and mediate any necessary compromise, using the guidelines stated in the Demands of the P.R.F.

i. Queen Adalia shall relinquish all claims to the defunct Queenship of the Petra, and instead be installed as the aforementioned Archduchess. As well as this, King Adrian shall relinquish all claims, and be appointed interim Grandmaster-Chancellor of the reformed Confederation to oversee the adoption of a government, a Constitution, and elections.

ii. The Heartlander Confederation shall submit to the following reformations:

ii.i The Order of the Petrine Laurel shall be recognized as the sole Knightly Order in the Confederation.

ii.ii The Legion of St. Godwin shall be dissolved, and a new host formed under joint P.R.F and Marnan leadership, wholly purged of traitorous factions.

ii.iii The city of Vallagne shall be surrendered to the Order of the Petrine Laurel, who shall convert it into a fortress to steward over the Province of Petra. 

ii.iv The city of Whitespire shall be wholly abandoned, or delivered into the hands of the Holy See.

ii.v A new capital shall be constructed on the border of the Petran and Aaunish Provinces.

ii.vi A single government shall rule over the Confederation, and it shall adhere to the Constitution of Paul Salvian.

ii.vii Should the Alstion Crown reject any of these reformations, they shall be ousted by force of arms.
