A Call To Arms

 

The Heartlands have erupted into turmoil and crisis. After years of peace, war has been forced upon the descendants of Aevos once more. During the iron assembly of Urguan, our Grand King formally announced that our faithful allies of the Kingdom of Norland have officially requested that the Dwarven folk intervene in this war and honor their obligations. As Dwed, we do not hesitate to fulfill our alliances and uphold our word. Our word is our bond and the creed we abide by. 

 

Thus  it has been officially declared by our honorable Grand King, Ulfar Starbreaker, that the Grand Kingdom of Urguan shall join the war on the side of Norland and Ravenmire and against the Kingdom of Aaun. The aggression displayed by Charles II of Aaun has forced our hand, and the King’s Council has deemed Norland and Ravenmire’s war against the Kingdom of Aaun to be just.

 

To the people of Ravenmire and Norland:

We March with you.

 

As Urguan enters a state of war, our Grand King calls upon all Clans to answer the Call to Arms and gather as one.

War is not won by fighting alone. Our Kingdom requires medics and healers to fix the wounds of our patriotic warriors. Tend to their wounds, gather your herbs and help our soldiers remain strong and healthy.

Your Kingdom asks for your axe, to show the might of your blood on the fields of war. Let your longships crash upon their shores, and your weapons find flesh. Let your berserkers roam free and deliver Dungrimm’s wrath to their doorsteps. Glory awaits, you will find the finest chairs in the halls of yore.

The Grand Kingdom of Urguan calls to you once more to be our Grand Standard bearers and elite warriors of battle. Dust off your brewery and have them working at maximum capacity to produce the finest of booze to quench our thirst in battle and fill our bellies with food to energize our people.
