Hand delivered to an emissary of His Holiness; the contents of the envelope remain private to all except Deunoro unless shared with others. [!]

TO HIS HOLINESS, DEUNORO,

I have recently come into possession of a letter that has put into question the true matter of royal birth within our apostolic kingdom. A love letter, written by my mother, Amelya van Aert, alludes to a royal child that is in truth the offspring of Amelya and this Stefano Montelliano, who had negligently kept this letter among Enswerp’s treasury when he assumed the role of Bailiff of Enswerp before me. It is my belief that with the greater content of the letter, I may be the bastard. Since my birth, I have felt disconnected from my siblings and I did not receive the love and care from my mother that a nurturer should give to their young as we see is the case in most matters of mundane wildlife. However, the late king and my ambiguous father, had maintained a respectable and pious demeanour when he did not find himself busied by the workings of his kingdom. I would like to see him as my true father, but Amelya’s perverted adultery has roused more questions than answers. 

 

I write to the Church in private so that I may request advice on how I should proceed with the knowledge of my questionable birth. Further, I would like that the Church not take her public petition for face value. My mother has never respected her children, husband and his kingdom, and made clear of it by moving elsewhere after his death - likely to consort with a flock of lovers she had been gathering in John’s late years while he became increasingly infirm. I believe her suggestion to be a method of ousting the Alstion dynasty so that Alstion’s historic enemies, such as her own family, may consolidate power to rival all things good.

The post mentions that the envelope/letter is private twice. In the title and in the opening paragraph. By responding as if you had access to the letter, you would be metagaming and that is why your post was hidden. I will make sure to edit it so that private is in bold for your viewing pleasure.
