“I have seen the desolation yet to come, and thy suffering has reminded me of what mine mother would have wanted.

Clasp thy hands in prayer - I shalt deliver thee from this blight.”

The bridge of Celia'nor was littered with debris from the battle. Strewn glass from potions, marks from blasts, burns from flame, and water from the melted ice of the Frost-Witches were all seen. Yet despite it all, the Eye of Iblees was noticeably found absent from above the city - signifying that the ruinous creatures had not found victory in their attempt to raid the area.

Yet, far in the north, the Banner of the Vehement Eye appeared above a particular landscape in the snowy mountains, ethereal in its simplicity as the cross appeared to judgementally gaze upon the inhabitants from its skyward belonging. An embedded head from a Frost-Witch was seen at the very entrance, a spike through it - though a note was left besides it,

"You appear to not match up to the Red Lich's example.

Mine predecessors within the Clerics would find it a good-omen for the war against Ruin to see you so weak."

A beast, alive and untouched during either of its frays today stares forward into the snow.

"Keep riding off my tail wind, Templar Boy."

Aelker sighs in relief as she hears the outcome of the battle, relieved the Darkspawn were dealt with,. A small starry owlet perched on her shoulder, gazing around the city intently.

"Damn bastards turned up just as I was about to get a house in Celia'nor... but I'm glad the Darkspawn didn't have run of the place," the Human-Elf hybrid sighs in relief.

Knave woke up with a start in the wheat field across the street. How he fell asleep watching an epic battle between the forces of good and evil he wasn't quite sure. The little fella must have gotten tuckered out silently cheering from his hiding place in the waist high wheat.

Maybe there was something to scavenge in the debris. Maybe he could finally get home and into his own bed.

Silwyn stalked the roads silently, a great polearm's haft pressed to his shoulder. His hunt was resolute, and he did not gloat, only continuing onwards. It would be he who annihilated them properly.

 Auntie Ethel Fan art - Year 3 : r/BaldursGate3

"Oh, my apprentice! The frost witches felled, but we survived. These petals don't know what will hit them next, as our memory still lives! We shall corrupt the land; when they least expect it. No heroes shall prevent our dark deeds from happening. OHOHOHOHO!"

The Necromantic Hag cackled in her goofy manner as disgusting flying bugs, and spiders emerged from her maw and sharp yellowish teeth. She went to retrieve a single eye from her collection of dead corpses. She stared into the eye, which also both reflected the appearance of her acolyte and her scrawny body. This maddened witch, embelished with organs twisted around her gaunt frame and bones worn like accessories, glanced briefly at him.

"Your ascension is soon to occur. Our coven will rise stronger after this defeat."

However, she couldn't help but think of the fight that happened. She survived through her tactics, holding the backline of their enemies that sought to flank the group back. Yet, the heroes won that day. She will remember the faces she saw and the hypocrisy of mortalkind. She had found her foes, finally.

The rider bearing the necromancer had too, survived the battle.

"Soon.. the snake shall accede to the swarm"

So it sounded through the now-empty halls of the North

"My wrath will unlike anything they've ever seen..."
