[PLAGUE] A Shadow Over The Duchy

A plague stretches across the Grand Duchy of Silasia's forest near the mountain, rats, and spiders, all biting the decaying land as there is no life anymore. Some animals are getting corrupted with necrosis, others are going completely mad.

It would be another wondrous day in the Grand Duchy of Silasia as its dwelled happily in their festival to watch over the Joust and enjoy their lives, but on the horizon, a dreadful spectacle can be glimpsed. Slowly, the green land, a bit away from the people’s town, became blackish, with plants and other things alike dying of necrosis. Leaves became nothing but ashes upon the impact against the soil, for their sickly frames shattered at ease. Whatever was corrupting the green hue of the land was not natural. A horde of rats, spiders, or such vermin stormed the town, sowing chaos. Furthermore, people might experience their limbs going dark and numb if they were to get infected by this terrible plague alongside the ones of the animals that dwelled outside. Whatever  was the source of this, one thing could be clear tha most! It was not natural. However, there was one thing that could've shown to some who was the accursed being that did this. Upon the looming mountain outside Silasia, a burning symbol was created on its face. It was the one of a flaming spider with three legs aimed up and an eye upon its body. 

 What evil could have done this? What evil could have corrupted innocent land? No matter, for now the people of Silasia would have to show their determination and steel resolve to fight the towering and plaguing darkness.

The afflicted region has been infected with the Darkbite. Once fully afflicted, a person will be infected with dark necrosis giving that stinging numbdness as if its the limb is asleep akin to being affected by frostbite. Generally, it follows all the mechanics of the disease and the RITE OF MALEDICTION. Follow the lore people and dw, none is forced to roleplay the plague. Remember to have fun first of all!

"We are virtuous and true and will not see evil overwhelm our lands. I just hope it isn't at the cost of what we have lost before." She signed the lorraine pacing her chambers.

"A plague, in Silasia..." John Casimir murmured softly as he received a missive. "I swore to my mentor, Astraea, that I would be a healer before a warrior. I cannot very well stand by and watch her people suffer," he declared, proceeding to then scribe a letter of his own.
