The letter manifests within the hands of the An-Gho in a sheen of radiant light. It is covered in white fire, but seems harmless to touch, even for the nephilim in question. The letter is written on a length of white and gold loin, and it sings a holy cacophony of scripture, heard as the voices of men and women. Each word that the An-Gho reads starts to glow, one by one, as he moves through the letter. It is written with such cleanliness, that it is without error. Each word is a caricature of perfection, as though it portrayed the words of GOD in its fullest, without unkemptness, or error. Further to this, the words of Raguel can be heard from the letters, surrounded by the chimes of the singing choir. 

 

To the An-Gho,

 

Recently, a most faithful Cardinal of our most glorious Church of our Lord GOD was captured by heathens, your spindly sons of Azdromoth. 

 

I do not understand what purpose bereft this mistake, but it must not go unpunished. I respect the mandate of Kings, and so I shall only propose one offer of redemption.

 

Bring forth the nephilim who concocted this plan, and in turn, I shall process divine judgement in the name of Justice. However, if you seek to protect this nephilim, who had ordered his disciple to capture our shepherd, then let this be justice. It will not be war, it will be justice.

 

It will not be the war that is declared on daily occurrence, wherein the Church and Man screams of their desire to cull the darkspawn and nephilim, but there is inaction. It will be your lands, and your kindred, bathed in fire that is untethered from the might of Azdromoth. It will be justice, but some would call it a massacre. 

 

However, I hear that you are a wise man, even for one so touched by Iblees. And that you have attempted to reconcile with the holy flock of GOD, seeking to make amends that your forefather had once marred by flames. Ah - so do I remember Azdromoth, wretched scum of ruin, as he burned fleeing men, women and children. I accept your honest efforts, and praise them barely. 

 

Bring forth the nephilim in question to the Holy See, and we can put this past us, for your efforts in attempting to find penance. If you bring me anything short of a dragonkin, be it your damsel heralds who were commanded to attack, or some other faultless Man who turns to the fire of Azdromoth, then I will take this as your response. 

 

The fire of GOD is stronger than the flames of Azdromoth.

Dearest An-Gho.

 

As the message is delivered, the letter instantly crumples into a pile of soot within An-Gho's scaled hand, folding between the creases of his draconian palm.

With that, Leonidas went forth to assemble fellow faithful who would answer the call of Raguel. If the disciples of Azdromoth would not repent, then the followers of Raguel would give them war. Nay, justice.
