Faerilien 226 Share Posted October 6, 2024 A group of Adventurous Musin stumbled into the sunny river town of Chambery as their eye caught the entrance to the cave system of Chambery. "Don't go in there, odd things are afoot in the depths. . ." Bystanders warned them of the party, yet the courageous Musin did not intend on listening to the warnings. They set foot in the caves, and deeper and deeper they descended. Until they reached a room that was filled with foul corpses of undead rats and bats, some even still chittered around the mouse-folk "Eeek!" some musin screamed, some tried to catch one of the flying skeletal bats, to no avail, for it dissipated into black mist as they caught it. Some tried to communicate to the undead animals, passing notes, yet they simply ate the notes... Suddenly a cool breeze was felt through the room, and all the undead rats and bats abruptly fled the room, making for the tunnels that descended deeper into the system, they beckoned the Musin forward, and all they could do was set chase. It was so that they stumbled upon a ruined shipwreck within the caves of Chambery, . . the waters filled with undead fish swimming around. "Let's go in!" Some of the Musin cheered each other on as they entered the shipwreck, yet as they set foot on the instable floorboards of the deck they stood eye to eye with something truly dreadful... Clank! Crack! Clank! It sounded within the caves that ship rested in, suddenly the Musin stood eye to eye with the empty eye-sockets of two skeletons! Some of the Musin hid behind each other in fear, some kept cheering and went to investigate. As they did the skeletons moved forward... One brave Musin rolled forth a gold coin, yet it hit one of the skeletons, upon which it charged forward! The other skeleton soon picked up that gold token, and as one of the brave mice started to play a tune the skeleton started dancing! hopping from one foot to the other with the golden coin in its calcium hands. "It's dancing it's dancing!" The Musin cheered. Yet the other skeleton was not so friendly, and it attempted to throw one of the brave mice like a ball! "RAAAA HAAAAA HAAAAAA" The other skeleton laughed at its companion, even as it was stabbed. . . and subsequently a pumpkin was put on its empty head. Yet these skeletons were frail, and upon attempting to remove the pumpkin, the skull came loose... finally putting the skeleton out of its misery. The other simply kept dancing, as it picked up a Musin that was close to him. "Come! Dance!" The Musin called out, and so the dancing skeleton did.. it started twirling, turning, and spinning around... yet its joints were brittle, and in the midst of his flourish his arms flung loose, flinging the Musin across the deck. There it sat. Armless and companionless... Yet the Musin were compassionate, and they wrapped up the skeleton, aiming to take their newfound dancing mate with them to their hideout. They backtracked out of the caves, a skeleton in tow. Yet it was not long before they strayed too far.. exiting the caves that blanket was found empty, the skeleton had dissipated from existence . . it had strayed too far from its source. Spoiler It was an awesome event guys, had a lot of fun on a very short notice.
