Today, in this blessed Year, 1997, the First Great Exilic Duma of the Adrians was held within the Duma Hall of Beznov. Exilic Duke Markus Sarkozic and his Chancellor, Stefan Euler, hosted a gathering of people from various realms. The record-high Duma attendance consisted of men from the lands of Haense, Balian, Numendil, Petra, Ravenmire, Sólgaard, and of course Beznov.

 

Ultimately, Stefan Euler and the bedridden, nearly dying Artyom Sarkozic were both proposed as potential dukes. Despite his allegiance to distant crowns, the proposal was accepted due to his friendship with the Adrian people. The two candidates campaigned against each other across great distances. When the votes were finally tallied, Stefan Euler won by a landslide, with seventeen votes to four, and two abstaining.

 

Some departed, but others remained for the celebrations. Late into the night, Adrians reveled at the Basking Turtle, with their Duke himself serving food and drinks, joining in the merriment. Markus Sarkozic was seen laughing alongside his wife Oksana, the Turtle Knight, Sir Aslan, and other notable figures.

Kasandra Sarkozic poured over the manuscripts detailing the legacy of her people with glee, a panging at her heart where history thralled a beat of continuum.

Archbishop Mundoberht read over the missive with a smile before setting it down to continue work within the primitive yet pious encampment of Sterhwog “Ah guud leadah ahn ah guud choice, oi should talk toh teh Duke Euler soon” said the Cavemannish Clergyman, going to set out after his work was done.

Tobiasz Sarkozic happily clapped his hands after the Duma had concluded "Stefan has been an ardent friend to me, and to the Adrian people for my whole life. I am looking forward to a prosperous future under his leadership." he said, nodding within the vibrant central hall of Aldersberg.
