In Memory of AlienPebbles

 

On Sunday, October 27, 2024, AlienPebbles passed away from terminal cancer. Pebbles had spent much of her time handing out cookies on LOTC, and playing games off the server, such as Lethal Company and Project Zomboid. She was an integral part of our community as a source of joy, always making us laugh until tears with her shenanigans and jokes alongside our own. From her love of the color pink, flower crowns, cats, cookies, and obsession with any plushie she could get her hands on. 

 

         Beyond sharing her kindness within the Solgaard community, she sought to do so the same throughout LOTC when she could, primarily known for handing out cookies as her character Rose. She hoped to spread love in a community which she cherished closely, something truly reflective of her character off and on the server. Her loved ones would like to express their deepest gratitude and thanks for being a bright light and being a pillar of support during some dark times. 

 

We had a memorial placed at Cloud Temple if you wish to pay respects and go visit in-game, with one of Pebbles favorite quotes. Furthermore, if you would like to say something or share a memory of our friend, we encourage you to do so, to celebrate Pebbles. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this time. 

 

      We leave you with these simple words: share kindness, share joy, share laughter, and share some cookies.

Pebbles was always a joy to talk to in vc or just in chat. Always a shining smile and laugh to accompany it. She will be dearly missed and remembered for her positivity always.

I wish I'd known sooner this was going on, and that I got to talk to her more. I shot the shit with her in VC a while back in May, 5 days before my birthday.
From the small few hours we did get to hang out, Pebbles with just a genuine, absolute gem. Rest easy, Pebbles.

Never know just how little time you have with the people around you until they go. Hold your friends a little closer and love your loved ones a little harder.
