Putting numendil in S, and the Church in D is wild

@Ryanarkis the only one not "glazing" as you youngins put it. I won't put together a tier-list myself, but Haense would have to be middle-of-pack as I am biased due to my first character on the server being its long lost great-grand uncle or some shit.

I'd put the Church pretty high up because its absolutely burying certain e-power addicts.

Numendil started off incredibly, but I am of the personal belief (agree or disagree, I'm fine with either) that a certain few players are recycling certain positions which is never a good sign of their mental wellbeing. Be comfortable letting someone drive the bugatti for a bit, you have plenty of insurance (nice lore, aesthetics) in case it gets dinged up.

Blackmire is just a particular player finally finding a corner of the map to not lose his/her toys in.

Hyspia has a lot of gold ore to mine in terms of aesthetic, but may need to be comfortable reconciling that the niche they occupy will never have a lot of players. I personally wish it was a vassal of one of the other kingdoms to free up the passionate drivers from "kingdom management simulator!" I am on the fence whether they insist on "being its own kingdom" for self-serving & self-aggrandizing purposes or because they have been sold the myth that they'd be "swallowed up" aesthetically if they weren't their own kingdom. I say this particular paragraph with immense respect & appreciation for the movers & shakers there though.

Forewarning - most of these are subjective and defined by my own experiences.

S Tier - I've been around these places for some time and have typically enjoyed the time I spent there, in regards to the playerbase, culture, activity, and general vibe. Haelun'or was one of the 3 main realms I'd visit when I joined the server, and I loved the RP of a human trying to fit into a very strictly defined set of norms of another culture, given what it created for the Persona. Petra itself has been probably the most enjoyable OOC community to be apart of, and I remember the early days of Hohkmat very fondly for Minvuas's efforts to introduce Mage Culture as something beyond "I'm a Voidal Mage in X community".

A Tier - I've been there, I enjoyed the culture and OOC community, and I don't have anything I'd critique it on or say I dislike. Numendil stands out to me as a nation and community that took a lot of time and effort to build its own culture and presentation up - it's probably the only other "Knightly" realm I'd consider to be actually Knightly besides Petra, and not "Knightly" with a heathy dose of crime and un-chivalrous behavior.

B Tier - While I have nothing outright negative to say about these realms, I just usually struggle to find activity in them. Some have very detailed and quality culture and backgrounds, some have a unique niche [Balian is the only real port-city I think that captures the vibe at first glance] but they tend to lack in other areas, or just activity in general.

C Tier - These places, to me, feel one-dimensional. If you do not conform OOCly and IRPly, you will struggle to be anywhere involved with these communities. Some tend to have issues with OOC that either die down, or are never really addressed. I can admit some of this is subjective and I don't really enjoy the niche of RP, but otherwise I think they objectively have issues with their OOC Community, or how they approach RP. This, of course, does not include the rich background plenty of these places have - it just feels so poorly applied, and more often then not a IRP-injection of someone's OOC thoughts.

Have Not Interacted - I have not been to these kingdoms often enough to fairly say anything about then or have enough experience with them to say anything.

OOC Hell - It's already been beaten to death already, but when you're known for going after anyone who makes a OOC remark about RP that has happened, various instances of metagaming, powegaming, and metarallying, and double down on telling your community to ratio someone's post in a derogatory manner - RP is simply secondary to the OOC. This is the only place I can recall being outright lied to by the leadership to justify and protect what rule breaking they did, and the only community that I really think honestly goes out of its way to protect the problematic people within it, and is not simply ignorant to such individuals time after time. I cannot think of any other place where Darkspawn will actively avoid raiding it out of sheer distaste for the OOC environment despite the leadership asking to be raided by Darkspawn, and becoming upset when they are not.

Not gonna do a list but I will say, the most underrated/overlooked nation on the server is simply Norland.

It's the only human nation that has its own religion, at least to my knowledge, and it's pretty cool. Its culture is very much intriguing and enticing at least to me. Sadly, I have not been around in Norland since my last Norlandic character last year, which was when it had its last monarch. But I will state, that those days that I spent in Norland were very fun and something that I desperately needed during that time. Anyhow, I'm hoping that I can make a solid return to Norland in the near future.

Besides that I also feel like the dwarves and orcs, those two races are the most overlooked races on the server. And likely the most unplayed despite its own intriguing culture and RP dynamics.

The top nations though on the server currently are likely Haense and Numendil.
