It is integral to penitent ritual purity, to the complete cleansing of the soul, that blood be shed on the altar before the Tabernacle of GOD, and that it be an offering to Him, in complete fear and adoration to his eternal omnipotence. But it is the burden that the lamb must bear; to always sacrifice for its tribe, and to do so willingly, in understanding of the necessity for expiation.

 

Thus, it has been by Pontifical Order that the Office of the Auditor's authority and competency has been absorbed by the High Court of Justice, but just prior the former office had been given a task; that of analysis of the Balianese Monarchy. By the See’s commission, a report has been drafted and presented to His Holiness, in which the closest claimants to the throne had been contacted and interviewed.

 

And in this investigation we affirm, in the Auditor’s Office’s latent and final authority, and under the Pontifical seal of approval that John Casimir Baudoin of the House of Novellen d’Atrus shall receive a dispensation for coronation, to serve as King, albeit with great oversight.

 

John Casimir Baudoin’s reign, for an indeterminate though temporary period, shall be supervised by two appointed comptrollers: the Co-Seneschals over the Kingdom, Cardinal Ivan of Lotharia and Justice Ledicort Vuiller, to ensure continued virtue over the King’s rule until he is deemed appropriate by the Holy See.

John Casimir Baudoin shall be required to report all major executive actions, including of domestic and foreign affairs to the Co-Seneschals for revision, and remain in a close triumvirate with the Co-Seneschals.

Let it be known thusly, that though John Casimir Baudoin shall remain under a period of observation, that he is welcomed in return to the true apostolic communion of the Holy Mother Church, and with this be raised in coronation by the Co-Seneschals and crowned by the Cardinal of Lotharia at a still to be scheduled date.

Having penned his signature to the document, John Casimir stepped before the dias, looking at the restored Throne of Unity. King John the First dreamt of a world in which the realms of men could live in harmony. He established a realm founded upon the principles of faith, autonomy and prosperity - a Kingdom in which one's mistakes are not forgotten but surmounted. "GOD above, is this truly my calling?" He asked aloud, "I pray you will grant me the same strength once possessed by my forebears. Tis' my duty to serve, and I shall carry their dream for so long as I draw breath."

He who would be crowned the second of his name was determined to rise above the sins of the past. To usher light unto the Kingdom of Balian. "I swear this unto you!"
