A Telling of Fire

[!] A public missive was left upon the boards of nations all over the realm of Aevos. . . a drawing of a serpent of fire, the depiction of a blood dripping eye carved into the serpent's face. Albeit the writing was cryptic, the understanding of a philosophy to be found by all was presented.

"When gold consumes the sky, and the world shudders in its bones,
The Serpent shall rise, devouring all.
Only ash shall remain, and from the ash, a purer world shall bloom."

In the shadow of the world's flame, I write to unveil the beliefs of few, something that I myself know of rather highly. Many may not have come to know- while some do ir is often spoken of  in whispers, in prophecy, in detestation that we will not come to the point of an end. Its true essence is the foundation of what is to come- and what is thought of often draws far from the thoughts of all but the most devoted. Bithe'vah is neither an ending nor a beginning, but the will of the Great Serpent upon these mortal lands.

It is a sacred flame that consumes impurity and forges anew - it takes from impurities and creates something from nothing. A cycle both cleansing and rebirthing, one that clears corruption and failure from this realm, especially that of those who lead others astray - and those whom have been led astray. Freeing them of whatever may plague ones mind. Bringing about a new balance - the truth of this realm in which we walk. One in which gods do not quarrel through the likes of mortals - nor are those who walk among us to be manipulated. Those who succumb to weakness will be ash in its wake; those who rise will shape the world that follows.

Bithe'vah is not destruction for its own sake. It is a necessity. A fire to burn away the excesses of greed, hatred, and weakness. The end of an endlessly flawed realm. When that time comes, all will be exposed - none will truly endure. You must shed the weight of mortal failings. Forsake the desires that chain you to weakness. Cast aside the relics of old. Arm yourself with resolve, for only those who embrace this will survive the coming storm.
