Throughout my short 60 Y E A R S of life, living mostly not with my own kind, but with Heartlanders, Highlanders, Waldenians, Auvergnian’s & Adunians - I’ve P E R S O N A L L Y met quite a few Uruks, who have either through C I R C U M S T A N C E S or through their U P - B R I N G I N G decided to abandon T H E  W A Y S of their A N C E S T O R S & join the C A N O N I S T 
F L O C K.

Yet out of those F I V E, T H R E E of them have passed on to the S E V E N  S K I E S, before they even reached 40 Y E A R S of age, often in a C R U E L & B L O O D Y manner.

It doesn’t happen often that an Uruk leaves the D E S E R T & The U R U K H I M, to venture into lands that D I S C R I M I N A T E S them for their ways. Yet some do - be it through B A N I S H M E N T, better O P P O R T U N I T I E S or simply W A N D E R L U S T. However, often these stories do not end well - as M A N K I N D lacks U N D E R S T A N D I N G of that which is N O T their O W N.

What's even R A R E R than that, is an Uruk who chooses to W I L L I N G L Y part from the wisdom of  The S P I R I T S for
C A N O N I S M, as H O N O U R is T H E core values of our C U L T U R E & B E I N G. To L E A V E one’s ways behind is often seen as C O W A R D L Y & D I S H O N O R A B L E as they C O N T O R T their B E I N G & I D E N T I T Y to be M A N - P L E A S I NG.

1. M A N K I N D  does  N O T  care for  U R U K -  L I F E

A self-explanitory reason & one which has plenty of proof. While there A R E few bright spots of H O P E & C A R E  & U N D E R S T A N D I N G within the R E A L M S of M A N, it’s well-known that M A N K I N D is at large I N C A P A B L E of caring for O T H E R S. For to B E a M A N is to be S E L F - S E R V I N G. That includes L A C K of L O V E for fellow M E N, for there are M A N Y Kingdoms of M A N - their wars engulfing the E N T I R E T Y of A V E O S.

D E A T H of a C A N O N I S T does not M A T T E R, for there are M A N Y still -  D E A T H of an U R U K matter’s less so, for THEY are not M A N.
 

2. W R A T H  of the  S P I R I T S

A keen eye might have noticed, that A L L the D E A D Uruk, have been T H O S E who U S E D to be S P I R I T U A L I S T S & have C O N V E R T E D later in their L I F E. For one reason or another, M A N K I N D has rarely faced the W H I M S of The S P I R I T S, unless it’s been dealt through C A L A M I T I E S or a S H A M A N.

Y E T, they P E R M I A T E through E V E R Y T H I N G that I S & is Y E T to B E.
T H U S was the D E A T H S of T H O S E who turned their B A C K S to  T H E M - a D I V I N E punishment ST. R A G U E L can O N L Y dream of delivering.

As a S H A M A N myself, IT is the reason I  B E L I E V E the M O S T.

3. U R U K S  are  J U S T  better  C A N O N I S T S

J U S T as K R U G saw through the L I E S of I B L E E S which H O R E N could N O T - S O do S O N S of K R U G carry themselves H I G H & N O B L E.

R A R E L Y does a S I N G L E canonist take action - T H A T is why they’re called a F L O C K.
So did these Uruk go off on their O W N into the J A W S of D E A T H.
U N A F R A I D & Z E A L O U S as T H E I R place by GOD was S E C U R E D for their F A I T H & S E R V I C E.

H A D a M A N done as they did, T H E Y would be S A I N T E D - Y E T outside of their respective communities: C O M M O N W E A L T H of the P E T R A & K I N G D O M of N U M E N D I L, no one K N O W S of their D E E D S.

F O R they were not M A N - P L E A S I N G, seeking recognition & titles, but M A N - S A V I N G.

Ultimately, this T H E S I S is to bring light to an I N T E R E S T I N G pattern I have observed & some theories I have. After all - It just might be due to our N A T U R E of confronting E V I L.

H O P E F U L L Y, Ser Rúnagleth will N O T suffer the same F A T E as her predecessors.

CANONIST URUKS die DEFENDING OTHERS, acting with a COURAGE your KIND SCARCELY UNDERSTANDS. They did NOT COWER behind the EXCUSE of ‘MANKIN’S DISDAIN’ or SPIRITS’ VENGEANCE. They STOOD as TESTAMENTS to TRUE VALOR, whereas YOUR ILK merely SNEER and STAB in the SHADOWS.

 

But DO KEEP WRITING your THESES, Bon’Ox. They’re a fine DISTRACTION from the TRUTH: that your RACE’S GREATEST SHAME is NOT the CANONIST URUKS who PERISHED, but the URUKS who KILLED THEM. Dearest Father Vanderwink of the recently conquered Weirdolands, you are equally quick to pin his kith as wantonly prejudiced as the humble Bon’Ox is to accuse ours. Please forgive my metatransmission beam to translate this message into your higher soul.

 

It is most natural for man to dislike those unlike himself. Perhaps such instinct was instilled by the Lord to prevent the sin of Harreny, to keep the tribes strong, and distinct, but in His infinite wisdom I would rather attribute it rather to an unfortunate fortuitous instrument of the Deceiver: it is in division that the Most Deceiving more easily festers. Skulduggery is the way of Saul, and there is little less honest than to see someone goodly, and wish them, then see them dead; skulduggery is the way of Saul, and Saul was trampled to an unrecognisable husk by his own crowd! To answer this question then, ‘Why do Uruks of the True Faith so often perish?’, it is due to pride. Pride that shackles Horenite, Malinite, Urguanite, Kruggite all the same. For the Kruggite, who have so redeemed themselves in the prophecy of Horen and Krug’s fulfilment, and overcome their insatiable bloodlust, this was the linchpin upon which murder was made somehow reasonable in their mind: pride. One truth you must doubly observe, however, is that most of these good, passed on Uruks, who have so expelled themselves from the Stargush, have died, to the best of my knowledge, prior to the resumption of virtue of Krug. Of course, there will be a Krugger and many after him to die after, but let this son of Krug die knowing that it matters not who killed him, for in his heart of hearts he knows precisely who: Ibliz. It is The Most Deceiving who would so drive a knight to take life, life most sacred, life most virtuous, life most ridden with strife, who would drive this ser to refuse a son of Krug to near himself to the Lord. It is not by virtue of Man’s carelessness, nor of Krug’s bloodlust which he has so recently overcome by Robertine avenues that Canonist Kruggers fall, but by virtue, or sin rather, of the fallen son of the Lord!

 

You label this piece a Canonist thesis, yet you present your case through a radically inverted lens! You blether of a plethora of different possibilities as to why your kin perish, but favor heathenous worship as first among them. Why? Do the Spirits not favor the Kruggite who converts? If this is so, why would the spirits not levy their wrath onto all Descendantkind who does not feed into their prode? What of the Kruggite who simultaneously pays homage to the Lord and the Spirits, in knowledge of the latter’s ego? In their middling touch on the world, good Krugger, it is not the Spirits that would disfavor these fallen sons of Krug, but the instruments of the Stargush’s will instead. In the same way a holy knight could wield the flame of Owyn so brightly that it burns his eyes of all virtue, and all he knows of the heretic before him is to kill! kill! kill!, it is the uruk who is so guided, who is raised by his people, instructed by his spirits to raise spear and sword on the proselyte Krugger.

 

So too though is it the fault of the Horenson and all those around him! For you have seen the spoils of the Iron’Uzg, you have seen the raid of Caius Primus by this ingrate Klog’Akaal who was at once a herald, voidalist, king, warrior, heathen, and you have seen all this and so you would instruct your sons ‘fear the Krugger!’, and you would not be wrong to be! Yes, fear the Krugger, but fear him infinitely less than which you love him. In overwhelming love you may never feel fear. Look upon Kretzen, where the Ser Varik has been taken as Waldenian, as Reinmaren, and ask yourself, son of Horen: Has he contributed to the degradation of Saint Daniel’s legacy? Of that of the Vander, of that of Aesterwald, of Waldenia? Or look upon Nerium Bishop Idunia, or Father Yellavah, and ask yourself, son of Horen: Has he not served the Church, led by man, and almost only men, with all his spirit maintained piously to save his ilk too?
