Spoiler

All that is required for Evil to win, is for Good men to do nothing.

[Multiple missives find themselves scattered around the Holy Lands]

“Brothers and Sisters of GOD, lay thine eyes upon our most blessed of Holy Churches! Behold the destruction left in the wake of Marauders and the servants of the Phoenix of Celianor!

We have watched from the sanctity of our Virtuous Kingdoms as they consort with abominable demons and the cursed Kin of Hell!

A taint beseeches the souls of those who linger beyond the walls of the Starlit City. Brothers and Sisters of GOD, i ask you this, shall we stand aside as they launch incursions into our most blessed of lands?

Nay! For idle hands invite the whispers of Sin itself! I beseech the Church, let us cleanse the lands and save those who have not yet fallen to corruption! For such is our Divine Mandate and Duty.”

The Missive is signed by none other than;
John Faithful

A distant canonist mourned the loss of the cathedral.

"No-- they would never.."

Uttered out Valindra in disbelief; while her faith in Celia'nor had been shattered, the 'aheral found herself in a state of grief-stricken denial.

Gusiam took a moment to look at the threat from Celia'nor, then upon such the retaliation of such from a Missive he got from a local who needed his aid. Yet a brow raised upon the devils face. Commenting once he had been home to who knows where. Yet seemed, Confused."So, First a ''man of god'' Threatens Celia'nor without a proper name. Now theres a Blame on Celia'nor by.."

The being actually paused as he read the tail end of such at the mention 'cursed kin of hell'. Which no doubt could easily tie both cases together."Now They use such a common human anonymous alias that has been used for nearly five centuries! Come on if you are going to pull a damn self sabatoge and cry out big bad elves. At least used ah more creative name! Yet this human missive has not one mention or quote from their funny parchements of god. This feels way to half-assed. Those who read this will likely be way to blindsided to actually read this carefully." The being said after, simply keeping the note to use for his Oragami hobby.

The Lord Marshal of Celia’nor, leaned forth slightly to read the missive that was rushed in and placed on the table during the diplomatic meeting, as he finished reading its inflammatory words. His eyes narrowed in contemplation as he looked up at the gathered royalty of Petra and officials from the Holy States present in the palace meeting room.

InterestingFor a moment he let the weight of the word linger in the air.Well, this proves their intent to sow discord, though their rhetoric is as hollow as their so called pathetic mandate directed to ignite conflict.”.

He would look to Therin I This John Faithful and the ilk that accompany him rely on the oldest tactic of the desperate lies disguised as righteousness. To speak of divine duty while calling for bloodshed is the hallmark of those who twist faith into a weapon for their own gain. It is abundantly clear what this coward seeks to accomplish." @Tremerus

Anorhil Antonius Harren, wise is the matters of the lore of yore, immediately recognizes by that same charism an underlying suspicious nature. He reports to the Chaptermaster of Lucien's Grail;

"Behold, the wickedness of the enemy! The traditions I had spoken to you just the other day rear their head. Recall, that the high elf is unique amongst his kin for he has a unique nature to hate the fallen nature of elves, and seeks to keep his people pure. Few are good at this, certainly, for the enemy has throughout history kept them away from the True Faith, where once there was a Crimson-Silver Concordat. Now- observe- in today's age there are elfs who unlike all their kin keep to a singular LORD GOD, and have friendly relations with the Temple. But remember- do not forget- sin makes you stupid! So the perfidious edgy, quite opposite of the rare noble high elf who seeks good for his people, the edgy hates his people. So he hears rumor of ear clipping, and in considering the uneducated charicature of a Rose, he seeks to turn the Grail against his enemies, rather than His enemies, if you catch my meaning."

This ranting went on at length, and not even Vincenzo had a fortitude to take it much longer before Antonius would get to his point.

"Go to Celian'or, and ask of this with manners. Know that his High Holiness thinks them friend- but it is not impossible that he be wrong, and that this PSYOP be not at all, but rather truth. I suspect, however, a false flag, and an isolated target such as the old temple rather than new specifically to avoid being caught in the act."

"The fact they'd kidnap someone and stow them in church grounds is already heretical, I would ne be suprised if they burnt their own church to fabricate a reason if their own dogma they dont follow. As they say, God watches." Said Uriella upon reading the unexpected missive.

News reaches Greiret Elverhilin in Valdev from one of his two servants, named Fumpleton of Fumpletown, who had mentioned the matter while they shared an extravagant breakfast of fried eggs, honey slathered boar, fruits and berries of the northern climate, sourdough, and spiced ale-- all prepared by the other servant named Gertie.

"While many who dwell in Celia'nor possess an intellect that rivals even the most intelligent of vegetables, I am certain that none who possess a station of any significance would authorize an attack on their allies with little more than devil's infamy to be gained, along with the world's blades at their neck - and be so utterly, positively stupid enough to leave their insignia behind. Clearly, this is some dimwitted attempt to frame Celia'nor... In other circumstances, I might appreciate such an attempt, were it even the slightest bit clever, and did not cause undue harm."

"Speaking of-- Fumpleton. Be a dear and send the Church some minae to aid in the reconstruction, with my every respect-- Yes, you may take some extra for the trip, and take one of the house guards as protection-- No! No, for the final, millionth time, you may not get a raise! Ask again, and it is back to Fumpletown for you mister."

Enrique woke up in his Santegian hotel and went downstairs to collect free breakfast. As he did so he had a scribe-bot recite some news bulletins about what he missed as he did his nightly long maintenance. He spoke aloud to the scribe-bot “Is this what it’s like to be e**o? Everything happens when you are away?”

"O my quarry, shall it be the arrow or the javelin or the sword-stroke to fell you for burning the mighty works of kin Cunimund?"

An embellished runestone read both in spartan, geometric Cingedos letters with a Common translation painted below.
