I can aid you in this. However, I wish to know what sort of research I'd be aiding. So long as this can be explained, you may have my assistance.

To One

Thalandir,

It is most gracious of you to reach out to myself and my flock. A number of good minded individuals, like myself, are likely to seek you out and join you. Please, instruct me where to find you and what to do; the Spirits will do the rest.

Your's,

Godwin Maiheiuh

Spoiler

If it can be done, I will send a letter in-game as well.

"Konichiwa Thalandir!

I am Shibuya-Manami, the Shrine Mitsue and leader of the Monastery located in Sakuragakure! There, us Shrine Maidens specialize in helping others and taking upon tasks! Many of us .. also just happen to be shamans as well, including myself!

Though my Mikos may be busy at home, or have not seen your missive, I am willing to volunteer to help your cause! I have done plenty of missions with the Ashigaru and Samurai of Koyo-Kuni, as well as have my own special combat miko armour! So .. I very much can work with others and defend myself! I even know special tricks with my shamanism for combat scenarios!

If you are in still need of helping hands, do let me know!! (❀°▽°)╯

O-genki de,

SHRINE MITSUE Matsuzaki-Shibuya Manami of the Sakuragakure Shidai Monastery, Naishoten of Shidai, Priestess of Kami, Leader of the sacred traditional religion of Shidai and DEFENDER OF TOMASU."

A letter, short and to the point, is drafted in return, and delivered by an animated poppet wrought of burlap, buttons and dried moss...

"To Thalandir,

Greetings and well-wishes, so on and so forth. I am Alara Camian, formerly Court Alchemist to Uriel-King of the Barrowlands – known these days as Númenatâr – though these days my efforts are more centered around my duties as a witch and servant of the Ilzgûl. Should you have need of an extra mind, I've not been on a good adventure since the slaying of the Great Ice Lizard of Yonpinawa. Rather, I have been relegated to breaking curses on fields every two or three decades. I would be happy to lend my aid.

Regards,

Alara Camian,

White Witch, et cetera."

[!] The missive would reach an old shaman outside the desert, brought to him by his parrots. He would ponder it for a moment, before writing a letter and sending his parrots to deliver it.

"Wagwan Thalandir.

Mi birds have bought mi a copy of lat's missive seeking shomos, agh mi think mi could possibly help with mi students. However, mi would first like to know more about what all of this is about. When ever lat just have the tik for it, could we either meet up to discuss about this, or could lat write mi a letter with the answers?

These am the things mi would like to know about:

  • What all have lat already found out about this situation?
  • Why agh for what do lat need shomos exactly?
  • What would the tasks be like?
  • What kind of fights am lat expecting us to possibly face?

Mi apologize if these questions seem a lot, it is in mi nature to ask them and figure things out. Nub matter what, mi hope lat luck with the investigation.

[!] To the one known as Thalandir another of the oh so many letters arrived, this one bearing a Amber Lotus upon it's seal. If and when it is broken open. The contents follow suit:

Dear Thalandir,

The Call for aid of shamans has drawn both my attention and intrest regarding matters of saving lives. I myself am well able body to the requirements that you speak of, plus the curiosity of what you research has sparked my own in a sense. I shall await an answer if my aid would provide some form of use.

Signed,

Gusiam Jusmia

[!] A letter arrives, carried an urukish hawk. The letters upon the parchment were penned in crimson ink in a rather simplistic cursive.

To Thalandir

I will begin with an introduction. I am Ukukaal of the akaal clan, though now I hail from the lands of Ravemire as my race struggles to maintain its number. As a proud orc warrior and shaman of both farseer and lutamancer dedication, I feel that it is important to extend an offer of aid towards you. Though these tasks may start menial, the spirits are sure to complicate manors and I wish to prevent anything untoward.

     Sincerely;

                         Ukukaal

To Thalandir:

"BUB'HOZH MOJO'PINKIE, MIZ HELP LATZ WID WUD LATZ NEEDUN, DEH SANDSWORN IZ AT LATZ ZURVOUCE!"

At the bottom of the envelope, there is a whole bunch of sand that had fallen in when the letter was being written
