So, as of recent the ST have unironically been vomiting out ST mats in events. In the past 4 months or so, out of the three ST events I went two, two of them had ST mats as a reward - including lunarite, argentum, azhl, and low density boomsteel.

 

Two of my friends also got like 400 minae, argentum, and more lunarite from an ST dungeon crawl. Honestly, just go to events. Even if you don't get the shiny material at the end, it's atleast something to do.

 

That being said, all of the above only applies if you live in the Americas. Anything east of EST gets BTFO in comparison due to timezone restrictions.

I like the system how it is now tbh, especially after reading Squak's comment. Rn if the rare materials are actually rare, because they take effort to get and stuff like that. You just dont walk around every other corner and find a piece of carbarum, which I think is how it should be. Also, it's a roleplay server, would make sense to have to rp to get some of the more rare materials on the server. Also ties in to irp knowledge on how to work with such materials, which I think should be a prized skill and not just something everyone can do. Items made of rare materials should almost be relics/artefacts per definition in my opinion, not something you can buy from some random merchant. I guess there's some problems with that idea but whatever you get me

I guess that's mostly true, tho look at the dwarves... mostly EU players, they get ST events a lot, with ST mats too! (whitewolf being a chad moment fr)

Wild that this is the official ST decision after the ST directive was for ET to cater to groups of players. This doesn't help the average player in any capacity whatsoever. Anyone who has a job with an inconsistent schedule also gets fucked over by this decision.

If you have any schedule outside of being free past 5pm EST on weekdays and having weekends free, you get fucked over. It's the way it is.

there are already too much people using special st metal items/weapons and generally its all the same people who have all these st metals, not lots of people having 1 or 2 st metals, but a small select few with a plethora of them
