As annoying as I think it is when a city closes its gates for long periods of time, I think it's within their right as a realm to be able to make that decision. There are alternate methods to infiltrating closed cities and if you're trying to get inside an active one, you can try birding someone you know might be able to let you inside

keeping your gates shut all the time is a stupid decision but players should have the right to make stupid decisions if they want to

If I had a nickel for everyone who argues to keep the gates open who actively bandit and murder hobo citizens during low activity hours, only to make fun of it Oocly later I would be scrouge mcduck

we lie and wait for the vale to open their gates during off hours, then we all log off inside their walls, and log in when it's time to kill them all

anyone who disagrees with keeping gates open is a vale shill
