Dear people of Haense, this is not a letter that I pen to you with the joys that I had hoped. Alas, it is one that I must write regardless. His Royal Majesty has fallen ill with an unknown, yet serious disease. He is in immediate need of treatment, and thus His Royal Majesty and an entourage consisting largely of his personal physicians has started enduring a trip to the lands of Ba’as, where they shall seek famed healers and physicians in the hopes of making a swift recovery.

 

In the wake of these travels, the governance and administration of the Realm must continue while the King is incapacitated and away. It therefore falls upon me, as Lord Palatine, to take the mantle of Lord Regent of Hanseti-Ruska until such a time when His Royal Majesty has returned to Kastell Lesanov. 

 

We wish His Royal Majesty a swift recovery.
