((For several days now there have been disturbances along the Kings road. They have been primarily situated in the shops across the road from Arteth's keep. It appears the undead or their associates are trying to run a shop there under guise which is fine and i support their rp in this respect as you guys need interaction with the rest of the population for your fun.

HOWEVER you can not expect to shoot lightning off of the roof, or spawn zombies without some repercussions. In addition to these actions shouts of "DIE MORTALS" "LEAVE MORTALS" or other similar vocabulary will not be met with ignorance.

Upon the witness of "evil" acts you can not run into these buildings through LOCKED doors and expect any sane person not to associate it with "evil". IF you run into a building after committing "evil" acts it is only Reasonable for your adversaries to associate:

-YOU

-THE OWNER OF THE BUILDING

-ANYONE ELSE IN THE BUILDING

-ANY LINKED STRUCTURES (through tunnels etc)

as undead / minion / whatever.

In addition if you are walking openly around with staffs it is only Reasonable for someone to question and / or if they are not satisfied to confiscate the item.

MY RECOMMENDATIONS:

-If you commit an evil act do not run into a building you do not want associated with the undead

-Do not openly carry a staff (if you mouse over it for a split second that is fine)

-Do not shout "DIE MORTALS" if you do not want to be associated with the undead

-If one of your side does violate this either rp being held against your will (CLEARLY IDENTIFY YOURSELF AND HIDE OFF TO THE SIDE and REMOVE ANY WEAPONS) or run out / away screaming of the building like 95% of Ageis does.

The key is reasonably relating to the event as if it happened in real life (the very foundation of rp)

A real life example (mainly for minions):

You are a HELLS ANGELS associate. You hang out around them but dont really get into the good stuff. You enter a full patch HELLS ANGELS drug hideout. A gunfight breaks out and the police arrive. You have a 9mm in your hand and you are shouting "die pigs!" The full patch members start a full on gun fight.

It is not Reasonable for you to expect the police to not shoot at you as well going forward check that house EVERY SINGLE TIME they pass. You are now marked (if you survived) and that building is marked as "gang associated".

If you don't want this type of outcome please educate your members on ways to avoid this type of conflict.

Can you give me names of people who have shouted such things? In my opinion, no Undead what so ever should be situated anywhere near the King's Road on a daily basis. To do so would be to break the secrecy and nobility of the Undead as a race, which is certainly not what anyone wishes for.

It's I, but it's not everday.. It was two different days I was trying to protect myself.. I was being shot at.. IT seems they like to metagame.. My staffs are located there too, but I'm trying to stay away from there as it seems as everyone has figured out that I go there.. They non roleplay attack me and then it seems as everyone likes to join in.. I'm not sure Dalek if you don't want me to defend myself.. If not I will stop..

I suggest acquiring an incognito skin and avoid travelling or living near the Kings Road to lessen the chances of being spotted and metagamed and attacked.

@ OP: What you must realise is that it is incredibly hard to go about your daily server life when you are part of such a recognised and targeted race in the world. Lodrick is a new Undead, and it takes a while to get accustomed to our limitations and guidelines. Rest assured, Lodrick will strive to making sure he avoids confrontations that you have identified and will better himself as an Undead.

I must also stress that both parties must uphold the general RP etiquette when in a confrontation with an Undead. No crazy no-RP charging of an Undead or sniping us with arrows from afar, because that only makes us want to watch your bodies be set ablaze and burn as you flee in terror. Do not expect to come out of a confrontation with an Undead unscathed, as an Undead will not expect to be spotted and apprehended by his adversaries if he is wearing our robes.

I object to only one part of your statement, I carry a staff openly and freely around. But would certainly not classify as undead.

(Still, what people do or not, it's the rules that make wwhat you say flawed. "Without war declared, you cannot grief, or Non-Rp kill others." I've defended myself, just casually being in this building during attackks, so I understand that, but people don't say ANYTHING, they just stab me, then when I stab back the cry for a ban. Also, don't post un the undead forum, use off-topic, feddback, or something like that. Actually, I think it's bannable (From the forums) at this point.)

((To response to the OP, does that mean its safe to say that Arteh's fort can be considered undead, and we have legit reasons to tear it down?))

Doesn't it have the Undead logo on it? Or something similar anyway. I've wondered why nothings been done about it.
