A call to all Mages

An open letter to all The Mages and voidal interested parties of Aevos

I have noticed a severe drop in practicians of the Void.

I want to call a meeting with all Arcanists across our land of Aevos to discuss the future and betterment of our ilk.

I fear with no unity among mages, trouble will be born and even more places will outlaw our field of study.

If you are like me and believe that voidal trade is a dying one, but refuse to bend the knee to idiocy, respond here with what time works best for you,

and what conversations you wish to have at this Meeting. The Meeting location will be chosen when the time is picked

~Midas Von Athri'onn Acal'Turrii.

Juniper's foot tapped upon the hardwood as she considered the words of her old student. After much pondering, she sighed, and prepared to pen a letter of reply.

Ac'Sullii, once a magi but no more, just reads the missive with a rather blank expression- a huff escaping her lips as she just leaves the missive be and goes about her days; not feeling like a weak twig anymore.

A once-Artificer purses his lips, holding the paper in between two fingertips. The ink curls away from the paper, then shifts back on, forming different letters.

A blue eyed 'ker shifted her gaze along the parchment a crow had dropped off.

"Hm, curious. It has been much time since I've involved myself in the greater ongoings of the Void. Perhaps I'll attend."

Lycoris let her crimson gaze wander across the sheet, a clawed digit tapping on the wooden table. "First Nepir, now him . . . Maybe I should take the naive student of mine." With a sigh, she got up to slip the missive to her lubrarian colleague and send another copy to the old man leading Soleaum.

A small woman throws a tantrum behind her desk for a few moments at the sheer emotional resonance of Midas's concern. Rather than write back, she runs as quickly as she can to the mages she knows to spread her availability by word of mouth.

This being the second time Midas had written about this subject, Orion released a sigh as he set down at his desk. A quill was produced, swiftly to scrawl a letter of reply. Hopefully, his tone would not come off too snarky.

A curious brow raised as the missive was brought to the Arch-Magus' attention. She thought back to the recent conversation and exchange of letters they'd had, figuring a further discussion might prove fruitful. With a wave of her hand, the noblewoman transfigured a vial of ink into a slip of paper that swiftly became a fully composed and neatly written letter to be sent out.

A pale mali'ker reads the letter as she looks over it. "Reminds me about Hohkmat, but I did ne learn any magic from there, only got help to understand housemagery and fire. I guess it can't hurt to just be there and listen to what is being said." She said to herself as she softly pet her Blaze Ferret Zuko before taking out a paper to write on.
