• Necromancy, Black Alchemy, and all of its related CA’s are to be shelved IMMEDIATELY.
  • Playable [CA] Lore Ghoul - The Accursed Undead is the exception to this shelving, being modified as to not be reliant on Necromancy as it becomes a basic corporeal undead CA for players akin to Ghosts.
    • The Stake of Mordring is right there, fall on your sword.
• Current Necromancers will revert to whatever they are just without the MA.
• If you want necromancy back rewrite it

One clarifying question:

If this is real -- and it passes -- what happens to ghouls? Currently, they need a necro to revive them.
Will there be something to simplify this process? Maybe like homunculi's revival period? Or will it be a pk on first death CA?

I believe if Necros are to lose their abilities and ghouls become independent but dont die immediately, instead revive or re-sustain themselves after a week. Similar to Homunculi or Inferi [Zar'ei], they revive after a week

Would the respawn timer change to match ghosts? Would the body be a new one, or the same?

It's a mechanical question -- I understand something would change to improve accessibility <3
