Spoiler

In seeing the soul the seer does not observe an identifiable person but rather a vague yet truer shape. They can observe the manifestations of curses and creature states including:

Varg: a curse of festering, black knotted flesh.

Frost witch: a curse of biting, chilling frost accumulating on the edges.

Silit: a secondary body behind them of warping geometric shapes and vapors.

Djinn: a spectral form of their second or third phase or a past incarnation.

Azdrazi or herald: a flame kindled at their center, azdrazi’s are roaring.

Naztherak, zar’ei, or zar’akal: a smoldering, ashy flame eating away at their center. Naztherak are missing slivers of themselves, zar’akal are entirely consumed in the fire.

Necromancer, lich, or darkstalker: a hazy black mist leaks from their heart. Liches and darkstalkers are covered in the mist.

Druid, treelord, or epiphyte: a verdant green light traces their silhouette. Treelords are marbled with the light like roots.

Mystic, ghost, paleknight, or wight: a sucking blue-green void churns at their center. Ghosts, paleknights, and wights are covered in the sickly half-light.

Paladin, seer, shaman, or templar: a pearl of sunny gold, chrome, bloodied sandstone, or tarnished silver throbs in their center respectively.

if I may suggest a change, perhaps make mystics souls damaged and interwoven with 1 or 2 others depending on their conjoinment.

Should add ones for voidstalker (literal voidal tear in the soul) as well as the shapeshifting FA (merging your soul with an entire additional lesser soul.)

Kloning does not alter the soul. I’m not sure how a seer would magically be aware of someone who fundamentally has a normal body + soul is any different from the normal descendant

I included it due to the recent updates with Klones now being weak to aurum + holy magics and their inability to have holy magics. I assumed cheating death now has a stronger affect on the soul.

glad to have something that’s updated and fits the current lore and the current CAs

Personally, I would keep some of these CA's listed, even if there are player character Silit or Vargr. There may still be cases where they are event creatures, and it could be fun to be able to interact in that way. I'd still get rid of Paladins, Frost witches etc, because those are completely gone.

I did consider that but decided to still remove them as if there ever is a chance for a player to read a Silit or Varg, it will be in an ET event where the ST can (and I presume will) still be able to give the player a special view of their soul :3

I think a soul that can switch between bodies and defy the natural cycle of life and death is a little not normal

Prima's take is insane, Kloning gives you a weakness to Aurum because you are defying the natural law of life and death by extending your life. There is a change, I can't imagine there wouldn't be.

the soul is not

-Altered (it’s still the same soul as pre kloning)

-Tainted (there is no dark/deific/magical influence on it, as it’s explicitly an alchemical process)

-Corrupted (The listed reason why klones have a aurum weakness is because their BODY is unnatural.)

So I don’t see how it magically has become detectable. The klone nuke post even states their weak to aurum because their physical vessel is an abominable thing and deities reject them bc they can’t claim the soul juice upon death due to reincarnation, NOT because the souls have become tainted or corrupted somehow. Again, none of this actually happens TO the soul but is a consequence of said reincarnated soul trying to do things. Since this ability reads the soul and not the body I think it’s a bit odd to say vaseek (when all deities somehow now hate/cannot understand alchemy) suddenly knows how to tell when a soul is not in the vessel it originally belonged in.

it truly does not matter though since aurum weakness doesn’t help testing RP and one can simply not inform the seer or not give OOC consent; if anything I’d add a redline to clarify not giving OOC consent cannot be used as grounds to suspect anything in particular like most other abilities have at this point.

The body is just a body dude, by that logic anyone who has a grafted limb or has changed physical appearance with alchemy (tawkin or alteration) would be weak to aurum
