IT IS WITH A TEMPERED spirit and a steadfast heart that I, the Margrave of Schwyz, do proclaim to the faithful and noble peoples of our realm a change in the succession of our House. After due deliberation within our family, a new heir has been named to uphold the honor of our line: Lord SIGISMUND LEON VON AUGUSTEN ( @Cycloth_), my grandson, and the thirdborn son of Lord FRANZ and Lady ALOISA. In his youth, he has shown diligence, humility, and a spirit well-tempered for the burdens of duty. In recognition of his readiness, I shall invest him with the ancient title I have borne for nearly six decades: the Viscounty of Azor, first of many honors to prepare him for the Margravate.

 

TO MARK THIS TRANSITION, and to honor the coming of age of Lord SIGISMUND and his noble siblings, House von Augusten shall host two grand celebrations at Konstadt, our seat in the Langkette:

 

I. The Grand Melee

To mark the martial passage into adulthood for my grandchildren and their noble peers, a grand melee shall be held in the fighting arena of Konstadt. In this contest of skill and valor, warriors shall clash in honorable combat, striving to incapacitate their foes in non-lethal bouts that test both coordination and courage. The champion shall be awarded 200 minae, and the valiant runner-up shall receive 100 minae. 

 

II. The Heir’s Ball

A grand ball shall be held in the Konstadt Great Hall, wherein Lord SIGISMUND shall be anointed heir and formally invested as Viscount of Azor, honoring his coming of age and the bright future of our line. Noble guests are invited to attend in the colors of Augusten- white, sky blue, silver, and gold, or attend bearing the proud heraldry of their own houses, so that the hall may stand as a living tapestry of loyalty and friendship. The evening shall begin with the solemn anointing of the heir, followed by the first dance of the new generation and a night of celebration for the bonds that unite our realm.
