Leaving, indefinitely.

Hello everyone, 

 

I write this short post to declare my indefinite hiatus from the server. I want to say that I have had mixed opinions on the server in general as of lately, but this is mostly unrelated to why I’m leaving, 

 

What my real life looks like right now and the time i’ve spent with some really lovely people and an amazing partner has made me realize that most of what happens on my computer screen, not just LOTC, is highly insignificant to my life, and I want to say that the quality of certain things on this server has been dulled because some players don’t realize that themselves. I’ve been one of those players. What LOTC has done very well is allow creativity, and to project some of it into a fiction like world. I ask that people that may read this to remember that it’s not your real life on your screen. 

 

It has been fun. And I’m not gonna conclude leaving on a bad note, it has been for the most part a lot of fun. I’m simply putting my real life first. I joined this server back in 2019 as per invitation from my friend Honourary, @North as I gradually started playing more I made loads of friends and for them I am thankful. 

 

With that being said, I will not forbid myself from ever logging into the server, I may do so to visit whenever I am bored and may have a little time and roam around the roads to say hello. (I might do so soon to leave some of my stuff with people I like.) With what real life looks like right now, it’s uncertain to happen soon, and uncertain to happen often. A complete return is also uncertain.

 

Throughout my time on LOTC I have not been perfect and there are more times than I can count on my fingers where I've been childish and a player of bad taste, but I hope I've changed enough to earn some respect back.

 

To the staff that didn’t abuse their staff position, thank you.

 

To my characters friends, family and enemies, thank you, 

 

And to my friends whom I treasure, thank you for everything!

Sorry to hear you are leaving, I know we had our ups and downs, I really regret the bad moments. The Obebiah (sorry if I spelled it wrong my memory sucks) will live on forever in my heart. Especially since you were there for my character Fallon Bishop, its was good time for me anyway. Hope whatever you do now will bring you great joy.
