"Another banner joins our host in full. Together a mountain shall seem a pebble in your ascent to your divine right." The Grand Knight says to Hadrian in the Privy chambers as he hears of the Northmen host mustering. It was not long ago that Nord, Midlander, and Idunian took on the rest of Humanity. The shattered Highlandic and Southron realms were scattered before the united front, the same would befall the Urukim and Dawi.

Maddock sighed, pained to see the people he was tied to by blood on his father's side stuck serving an untrustworthy tyrant. "I'll set you all free. I promise."

"Haraldr-sama... why must Fate be so cruel to us all?" A Oyashiman pressed her hands together upon hearing the news that she would be forced to fight the King she had hopes for, and surely Iulius. Her prayers wrought in sorrow, hoped they could reach her Kami to bless her ancient Norlandic friends. "I do not want to fight you, or your people, but... alas..."

"At least, I'm honored to call you a worthy opponent." The Lady of Symphonies was not sure she could change the Norlander's mindset regarding this war, but there was one thing she knew well: she would fight honorable foes unto a glorious battlefield. "Good luck."

Within his home, Aviel sat at his desk, running fingers through his hair from nervousness, as he read the declaration from the Norlandic King and High Keeper.

“‘Sandr, Kristoff, e’eryone, stay safe.” He murmured before he brought out his silvered rosary and held it tight, knuckles paling, as he quietly prayed and begged the Almighty for protection over his wife’s family.

A taste of rot and filth on our tongue, brought by this desire of the norlander King to turn his citizens into snagas.

Somewhere in an Urguanite vassal, a distant mali'fenn huffed with indignation.

"What the **** are they doing there?!" She exclaimed, throwing a copy of the notice to the side. "First that whole incident years ago, and now, becoming thralls of the Empire? This is insanity. Ellenore would be rolling in her grave if she was alive."
