The Summoning of the Kin

Issued by the Grand Kingdom of Urguan

 

The time has come where we face the consequence of peace, an Empire of Men that has grown too large for itself, and has adopted a hunger to consume those around it, including their friends and allies.

 

After everything the Grand Kingdom has done to aid the Imperials, they have chosen to conquer us instead now that we pose a threat to their attempt at world domination.

 

The Dwarven Realm refuses to fall under the reign of the Empire of Men. 

 

We refuse to live kneeling. We will fight and should we die, we will die standing.

 

To the Dwarves:

 

I, the Grand King of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, summon the Kin home. 

 

I call to the Elder clans and their descendant clans:

 

Sons and Daughters of Bogrin, the Grandaxes

 

Sons and Daughters of Yavok, the Irehearts

 

Sons and Daughters of Kaz’Ulrah, the Frostbeards

 

Sons and Daughters of Gotrek, the Starbreakers

The Elder clans alone do not live and prosper in Urguan, and so I also call to the dwarves who bear no clan or lineage, and those of common clans who have yet to find their place in the Elder lineage.

 

To the Vassals:

 

I call to the Vassals of the Grand Kingdom, for when you were lost, we took you in and helped you grow. You are one of us now, and so you fight alongside us for the lands we both live upon.

 

You may not be dwarves, but you are kin. I have walked among your people, stood, laughed, and celebrated among them, for their successes are my own and mine are theirs. I have grown to know many of you, as you have grown to know me. 

 

To the Oppressed:

 

Finally, to the oppressed. I have seen the wrath the Emperor evokes upon you, and the fear he tries to instill into those he places beneath him. 

 

Upon entering the new world, I promised the peoples of the many realms that I would seek our growth and success among the many races. I promised I would sow peace in the soil we walk upon rather than blood. My oath remains, the Grand Kingdom of Urguan fights in defense to protect the freedom and peace of this world so that we may return to the prosperous path.

 

I do not wish to see you slain upon the fields of battle or die crashing against our defenses. If you seek safety, you may find it within the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. I will not force you to pick up arms against your own kind, should they be your kin.
