There's a reason for that (you are looking at my old account too)

Also, as if you must be active to hold an opinion. Just shut up, idiot.

How's the ST taste btw?

I do want to point out that the characters that were PK'd have been rped in the past week. There is no RP reason for their deaths, its just POOF THEY DEAD. Absolutely horrible decision for an rp server and it completely wrecks any good rp coming from this shitfest.

We cannot be serious bro @Chuuwys@MaplTree

Some accountability has to be taken, You lot put yourselves in this position and posting in forum statuses instead of interacting with the post itself is bunz

I'm not saying that the treelords here were without fault, as from what I hear the way the trees were stored was less than genius, but being able to permanently kill several characters in one interaction sounds like an insanely effective way to destroy roleplay groups and should be considered anti-RP. At least in warclaims if a group's tile is taken they can monk revive and disperse, but this exterminates a population.

Nobody forces tree-lords to put their trees in a massive group of 3-4-5-6? This was a choice made by the players to all sit in a grove together. It was not the intention as stated to permanently kill a massive group, but the fact that they didn't do the one thing that is meant to protect the failsafe that keeps them from being pk'd. This would be a problem if it exterminated the population of tree-lords as a whole, but it doesn't, only the population YOU care about oocly. This is not even close to being considered anti-roleplay, still just a matter of circumstance that could have been avoided in the months of roleplay that lead up to this.

Hey bud, i was the first interaction with this post. Ive had nothing more to add before the second comment. Vague recliner and admin cherry picking who it effects did this. Im sure this verdict doesnt effect all the inactive soultrees

Wait... I was there?

No way, I didn't... realise. I am sorry, fooldude. Please forgive me for being there.

I should've done my ST verdict whilst sitting in cloud temple instead.

I am so glad we came to an understanding. Thank you, fellow roleplayer of the ST team! Peace at least.

I don't have a super strong opinion on this but I do agree with the sentiment of being forced to PK because you didn't do some self RP with a sapling or something, and I generally dislike lore authoritarianism, but this conversation would benefit far more from addressing a flaw in the system or attacking something more fundamental than writing a multi-paragraphed anecdote. this post is really reactionary and accusing everyone involved of ooc plotting and bias is really weak and so tired

however saying "you signed up for it" is just rlly deflective. when you see a leaky faucet do you say "well I bought the faucet so I signed up for this" or do you try to fix the faucet? conversely this is something that, if it's so awful, should have been amended a while ago and it would have been like 2-3 sentences and a lore submission to fix. idk anything about tree lords so I might just be talking out of my ass and it's a nuanced situation but oh well

I merely wrote it on how I selaw the situation on my pov as a staffless noob. Remarking what I wrote to Rigorous; I was a bystander in the crossfire, so I could be biased because atm it doesn't look very good on a OOC Level from any corner of this whole situation. Again, perhaps I am wrong but I have no reasom not to think what I think.

I do agree with your other points. Thing is, it has never been an issue until today, but we took the completely wrong approach by mass pking ppl who werent aware nor was given an exact time on when it would die, then hopefully fixing the issue after takimg heads. It would have been far better to give a warning and then ammend it. As once again, nothing narrivately was achieved from these pks other than making people mad and wasting their time. I don't understand why the hard trigger was pressed rather than being more understanding. It could have avoided a LOT of issues and dramas.

I also am a very new tree lord and druid, so I can do only so much.

I never even said anything about the freeze lol. The freeze ended on saturday, a week was a general, albeit over, estimation. Regardless, they have rped on those characters the past few days.
