LOTC Years MUST Be Changed To Every 2 Weeks

7 months in an LOTC year. 24 days in an LOTC month.

A person who has lived for 18 LOTC years is 3024 days old. Divide this by 365 to equal it to IRL days - Each 18 year old is actually 8.2 years old.

 

Change the number of months to 14 and it gets much closer to the original age.

But LOTC pregnancies last 9 months. And humans live to 150, aging actually SLOWER than regular humans to make up for the 7 months.

I just think it'd be a lot cooler if you were upfront with the fact that this is to avoid age-PKing your musin as quickly. I'd respect that more

An LotC month is not the same length as an IRL month.
An LotC year is the equivalent RP length of an IRL year, except that the LotC year is divided into 7 months, not 12.

have you considered the following: LOTC rp time/date is different then irl time/day? that there is only 7 months in a year and people age faster?

Its to make up so server more fun.

Also Thats okay. It can be 9 months. Maybe in the fantasy lotc world, pregnancies take more than a year. That's ok.

Alternatively you can just think of the months as being longer and roughly the same length as an irl year and not overthink it

That would make having children pretty painful, 9 irl months for them to get to 18 years...

 

It's easier to assume days are longer in Lotc to account for the fewer amount of days in a year.
