A Possible Iblees Cult Near Galahar

While I was wandering around the area between Alras and Galahar on guard duty, I saw eight of what looked like bandits wearing black armour with a red symbol on it about to kill a Dark Elf outside a small cave(that is the only word I can use to describe it but it wasn't really a proper cave). After I had saved the Dark Elf by killing the bandits in combat(They all had stone swords and I used proper tactics), I started to think about the way they were going to kill him. They weren't just going to jab a knife into him, they seemed to be doing it almost as if it was a ritual. I wanted to ask the Dark Elf what they were doing but as soon as I started fighting the bandits, he ran. Maybe the bandits were sacrificing him for Iblees? There was also lots of strange objects inside the cave, I couldn't name them for the life of me, that were gone when I came back later to see if I had missed anything. This and the fact that Nightmare (a known Iblees worshipper) has been around Galahar a lot recently, makes me think that there MIGHT be a Iblees cult that is hanging around near Galahar.

Between Galahar and Alras seems to be where all the danger is. The Kings road has lots of petty thieves but Iblees worshippers are much worse.

I saw more bandits wearing this armour just past Alras, I tried to follow them but when one of them spotted me, they ran faster then I could so they got away. The strange thing is, why did they run instead of trying to kill me? They were quite a big group, four I think.

Ok but the cave is completely empty now. When I came back an hour later to have another look at the objects, all of then and some netherrack that was there were replaced with dirt, obviously someone cleaned up after their fellow cultists.
