Lack Of Dwarven History

So I was messing around in the Human Camp, when the topic of Dwarven years vs. Human years and our ages in general. Seeing as I have Arbrek as 699 Dwarven Years old, I figured out that he is about 4,893 Human Years old. I was told that unless I was Urguan's first son, that this was impossible, so I went on the wiki to check on dates, timelines, and other such things when I discovered.....Absolutely nothing! So I went and check our normal history, this time there was a baldy written paragraph that was extremely outdated, and almost useless. It's quite sad really, hinders RP quite a lot. You might ask why don't I just fix it? Truth is, I'm not very good with lore, otherwise I would already have done it. So, I implore all Dwarves to pitch in.

This is a sad lead of events. When were the days long past when a multitude of dwarves flooded the server's gates.

I do miss their accent. I dislike how everyone is opting for a Human, Elf, or an Orc.

Well um.... years are all the same so a dwarf like me has outlived 6 humans generation but at last humans dont rp this. so your fine arbrek cause you woulda been born hundreds or years ago. Also years are the same for all races there is no different time keeping between the races. we just age way differently. also dwarves, elves, and orc dont die to old age just mostly to sickness and becomming frail.... i might age hiebe to be 1500 depending on if my family will protect me and take care of me. I have added history into the wiki a lot from the time of getting everyone joining to when algrim became king.

Im gonna be a dwarf in 2.0! But anyway, I was reading a fantasy novel about dwarves, but they had a very interesting concept. Naming. You had to wait until you were like, 80 [Dwarf years] then you would be granted a name, relating to your skill or personality. Such as <First name> <Stonebreaker> Stonebreaker refering to, that you are good at... you guessed it. Breaking stone. and <Edgerunner> probably a courier running through the Dwarven caverns. I think it would be cool, and lets the newer players who are dwarves to figure out what there style is for RP. Whether it be a soldier, [strongarm, Strongshield] A miner, [Jembreaker] or a smith [Anvilmender]. Just my two cents!

We do have a timeline going in the modern history section although it's very vague at the start and only properly covers the more recent events.

Another problem with the wiki is that anyone can edit it, someone wrote about me and along with poor grammar it also did make any sense or match my character. I do try to update the wiki when I have the time.
