Thral'Mar goes heads through the front gate of Luarelien with a tear in his left eye, and one streaming down his cheek on the right. Thral heads up to the gauntlet and the people who are in Laurelien strangely follow him. He goes to the center of the guantlet. He starts to speak with a weak voice and a shivering body.

"Dear friends and citizens of Aegis, today I found one of my best friends in the whole world dead on the side of the king's road at the gate of Al'Khazar. You may not have known him, but he has been my good friend since 1324."

Thral can hardly stand from the shock of the death of his friend. He stands up again and tries to stay strong.

"He came to me yesterday and said he was going to Celstine to put a rose on his family's graves for the last time. I was worried for the old man so I followed him. Some people said they saw him go to Al'Khazar. I went into Al'Khazar and found him lying there... dead... at the front gates of his favorite city in Aegis."

Thral breaks down again and tears start to stream down his face. He gets back up with wobbiling legs.

"He was stripped bare, someone stole all of his belongings. The rose was still there though. It was laying on his chest. I immediatly went into shock and almost fainted. I made myself strong and picked up his body. I was able to resist the miasma of Al'Khazar, and took him to his family's shack. I burried him alongside his brother, mom, dad, and his grandfather. I laid the rose on his grave. I went came back to Laurelien the way me and Gio used to go on our travels together. If you didn't know him, he was a man of humor. He was a man of seriousness. He was a man of pride. He was never perfect. But he was... he was special."

Thral's voice cracks and he turns to a lighter color.

"We did everything together up to the point that he bought a shop in Al'Khazar. To all of Gio's friends I would like to thank you. Mr. Throdo Therving, Golden Syndicate leader Maximus, Lykos, Dezios, Tim, Boiendl, Eli, and anyone else who was close to Giovanni, I would like to thank you all for always being there for him even at his darkest times. He was a good man. And tonight we all drink to him, and his honor. The old bastard was always tough and stubborn, but he was a good man."

Thral stands up looking strong again and he raises his fist and screams.

"TO GIOVANNI CARMINIAN THE THIRD, THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER ONE LIKE YOU! MAY AERIEL KEEP YOUR SOUL SAFE FOREVER."

Thral'Mar steps off the gauntlet with one last tear for Gio streaming down his face...
