I think we need ta make the road to th' city safer, on th' way from the temple if its dark there are a lot of monsters, even when it's light there are, and it's very easy ta die

Ged ideas mates, I see yer all want sum food n' Ale, some enjoyable fights in te' arena! Ehh.. Dat about te city n bridge renovatin.. We be doing dat!

I think that stoppin' other races from entering da inner city would reduce trade unless we put some shops outside, also, when will da city 'ave a name?

1st support the nation with food and supply's

2nd fix the whole inner city, make groups of dwarves who will fix a part if the city, so it will be done faster.

3rd make the road easier when you come into the hallowed mountains (me is an old dwarf then it will be a bit easier)

4th make a small trade camp/inn thing somewhere close to the wretched grove so people can trade but they dont have to go to the dwarven capital.

5th no foreigners allowed except if he/she is with a dwarf.

Wit' da new city should come new politics, aye?

Perhaps our kindred, the dwarves, should receive da right to vote to put who's who's in certain places in office, if we be citizens. Would give houses real meaning, ya know, wit der political stances on factions, taxing, and what not.

"Course da citizens don't need to vote on everyt'ing, but power to da people would be splendid.

Getting da' market district up n' running would be grand, cuz all dis bartering nonsense is bloody useless. Us dwarves need a hard currency, else we'll be too distracted by da golds and diamonds of our city to bodder to work hard. Increase da strength o' da Minas!

N' dis may be a stretch, but da workers deserve some form of compensation. Wedder it be coin, supplies, or a new house, us dwarves run on greed and rewards. We'd get much more done, that-a-way.

Geh, I'd beg to disagree, kindred.

Givin' da right to vote to da educated, hardworking dwarves who own property gives dem incentive to stay content during troublesome times o' da many wars dat'll face in da future. When t'ings go bad, the dwarves can't be unhappy for dey voted da men in power.

Fuddermore, givin' da educated, hardworkin' dwarves da right to vote, keeps em busy trying to own property and make enough money (You would need X money to vote, just hand it to the voter, they count it, and then you get it back) so dey can vote. Keeps da dwarves busy radder den lollygagging and such, as dey'll be workin' hard so dey can vote in da next council election.

Finally, it gives da bloody houses some real meaning. Da houses can actually have strong political stances on various issues, so dey can be voted into power. Udderwise, its just a bunch o' bloodties feuding over power. Den da houses'll be able to reach out to da people, and the true-est house will be voted into power, because da dwarven peoples voted 'im in.

Dat's what I gotta say on it. A true Dwarven Monarchial Republic, run by da educated kindred, will trump any of da dwarven foes.

everyone can kill a monster, that is a way uf makin money.

so that means that the biggest idiots, who are stong and kill alot, are rich.

they can vote on everyone that they want.

now it is a gud living, with leaders of clans and guilds. when these are gud they can become a high lord, then grand counciler and then maybe king. but no voting, just do your work.

What nonsense! Those who can slay a multitude of beasts possess the knowledge of a warrior,the finesse of his blade, the strength of his axe, the might of his quiver, the weakness of his enemies, something that is still greatly valued in our society, I so hope, lest it has been bastardized upon our travels to Asulon.

A strong, valiant warrior who has made enough money to earn enough coin to compete with his scholar peers, or businessman, is a dwarf who deserves to make his or her vote, for he or she is the one who will be fighting our wars, protecting our people, and guarding our dwarven way of life from the beasts of Asulon.

We should 'ave it as the clan lords have voting power. git rid of lower councal and put the clan assembly in id say.
