*The man with yellow eyes hears that Thom said, and felt his fear. He returns and places his hand on Thom's shoulder.*

Thy is weak youngling, thy fear can be senced by anyone. But... thy is worthy, thy fights that fear.

Can thy imagine what would happen if all became gods? What about only half? What about only a few... Can thy imagine what ould happen? If all were gods, all would fight, because if all are gods, all should have all the power, but that can not happen. If half would be gods, half would rule, half would be slaves, and gods always want worship so once again fight would happen, as all want all the worship. If a few would be gods, they would part ways, create their land, and fight each other till one would stand. But as the fight went on other few gods would appear and fighting would continue.

See what he is offering? He is offering the same that is now, gods would be the kings, the worshipers would be the people, and the non-worshipers the slaves. He is offering what we already have, he is offering power. Because if he was offering the possibility to become god, the word god would have the meaning of powerfull and normal would just become weak. And the powerfull would fight using the weak, in search of more power. So, ask the prophet.. ask him.

*The yellow eyed man's voice goes louder and he turns to the prophet*

What do thy offer, when thy succeed and the gods start fighting eachother? If thy follow to achive the highest greed and do reach it, all will want more, as that is the highest greed one can have. What will thy do when the gods notice, that if they are the only god they will be more powerfull.

That is why a judge is needed, not all can be gods, only a few that are worthy can achive that status, all the others must be stoped. All thy offer is the same as already exists, all I judge is for the same.

So I ask again, what will happen when there are so many gods, that being a god is not enough, and so they aim higher...

The Silent Scribe notices all of the talk of gods, standing up from the tree he was sitting against dusting off his pants just before his tights on his legs, opening up his mouth to speak, more of the crowd covers him and he budges his way through to get to the front to see this Prophet. He then sighs and coughs, beginning to speak as he was going to

"Ah so the talk of gods being greedy and crude is finally getting handled? Just slave masters sitting in the sky watching from a throne, ordering people around. Your words are intelligent just as you are, a wise man very indeed. I may have to shed my quill onto you, writing a new story for me... Now I ask one question, and only that, would you accept a little old scribe like me? If I were to change the desires of my life into the new light you speak.. Maybe the gods will finally become prone if you do succeed."

Niko steps up, and clears his throat.

"This man, speaks of truth. The gods have brought us life only for us to do their tasks and to throw us around as their playthings. Iblees, seeking to destroy all of Aegis.. tempting others to believe in him has had his chance, he is no more but a pile of ashes. Aeriel, who has also had her chance, now gone into a land of unending prosperity and harmony. They have asked us to do this, and that. They have given no time for us to rest.. My friends, just years ago we were living in a land of unending suffering, and now.. This man hopes to end this suffering! The gods shall become prone, and we shall put an end to this madness!

Niko lifts his hand to the man.

"I shall assist you in this, no longer shall the gods' reign overcome us!"

Pondering the name of the cult, light obscured, darkness... power. Gawyn reaches up his hand towards the prophet... "I join thee, Aeriel and Iblees be banished from my soul, may I become one to worship, I join thee brother."

-Steps down from the pedestal and holds the man's hand. He raises it for the crowd to see.-

We have a wise man here! He sees the tyranny and lies they spread and are the source of all sins. I invite thee to aid our cause. Together, our society shall stand true and tall, a pillar of light for all to see, and a large curtain to cover the lies!

*The crowd parts ways leaving the space between Thom and prophet desolate and empty. His face relaxes. A slight hint of doubt shows in his eyes before he realizes it and fixes his gaze back to the man almost as sharp as before. *

“You make it sound like one can ascend to a god easily. If it was that simple, wouldn’t everyone be a god by now? I have been ridiculed by elf and human alike for my blood for as long as I can remember. Now I have found people who don’t care about my blood and employ me to keep the fields. The last thing I want is to see is some ‘god’ come in and take it all away. I was damned at birth but I will not be damned again!”

*Thom’s body is shaking slightly as a glimpse of fear flashes in his eyes.*

-Looks toward the man and answers politely.-

I did not say it will be easy to swim upstream, small fish. Quite the opposite exactly. But, since when has one been worshiped to the extent of godhood? The gods, worshiping other gods, shall prove to light the path to Elysium.

Concerning damnation, petitioning to our cause shall provide an escape from the void, Ginnungagap, and into the embracing arms of our society.

Support our cause, or your destination will be apparent.

We will not fight, for if one shall, the rest shall shove the outliers into oblivion. One is not mighty enough to topple a mighty structure. A renegade group shall not unbar us from our path, as we are an arrow, shining through the sky. Vigilant and sharp, we make a path if none exists. Deflection from opposition will only provide us with more judgment, aiming higher. We stand on the shoulders of eachother and pull eachother up.

I am merely the bow that shoots the divine arrow. Even if I do miss, judgment of position, coordination, and persistence shall be my guide. With this, I have insight of where to aim.

I offer godhood to those who are willing to seek a path. Not all shall have it, and they shall be the opposition. The chosen shall strike a path through the clouds, the weak shall be left for our decision.

A judge is not needed. Our aim is almost perfect, and shall only be stirred with the largest of storms. But, persistence is a virtue, and it shall serve us.

A scribe possess knowledge beyond sages. They are both wise, cunning, and devious if they may wish to be. With knowledge over power, we seek people with these qualities to join our march. It is rare to find one, skilled in the mind, rather than a warrior with no sense of direction.

A scribe possess the power to create roads and foresight. Scribes can judge the character of a road that leads downwards, and point the road to light.

You are the lantern that guides us in the dark forest.

As old as you may be, a scribe is a valuable asset.

And with what all is said and done. My answer remains the same as soon as you spoke your first word here.

Yes.

Niko steps up, and clears his throat.

The blindfold has been lifted, a newly enlightened being. I accept your will and power to the cause!

You will not assist us, but become a god together. The society shall be the light, shining through the darkness, obscuring the god's rays of lies. Our light shall be stronger than theirs, and no longer will the world be riddled with Sins.

*Thrym hears the words and shouts an answer*

I 'ave experienced first 'and ta tyranny of ta Gods. Ye speak the truth about them though some of what ye say is a bit far-fetched.

*walks out from among the crowd staring from his single eye at everyone*

Join our cause... We will show you how far-fetched it is. The society speaks the truth of all of this. We only wish to peace and a means to maintain this peace for all eternity.

Never again, shall the children cry.

Krug God.

He turns his head towards the foolish Orc.

This -Pointing towards the Orc, asleep in the fountain- is what plagues the land. Fools like him are to be obliterated from this world. We seek the powerful and strong. We crush the weak and raze their homes.

Do you think this skulduggery be present in our new world?

Mmmh... Mad preechah...

*Drools in his sleep*

-He ignores the orc's rant-

"Mad Preacher", quoth the jest.

-He waves his hand, signaling Nightmare to take him away-

Now, let us see where your 'Krug' is...

Shall he abandon the blathering fool?

Or shall he spare his life, letting him see the light of day once more?

*Daedren chuckles to himself wildly as he hooks his wooden staff over his right shoulder.*

*Daedren thinks to himself for a moment as he evaluates and analyses the spoken work of the man on the pedestial.*

*Daedren claps his hands together as he straightens his back.*

*Daedren stops clapping and prepares to speak out as he scuttles forward to be seen.*

"I do not digress from the wisdom of your mind, instead I question the sources of which you base the words you speak.

What makes you think that their throne can be claimed by anyone? How do you hope to obtain the power necessary to be able to usurp such power?

Your words are true, I agree. But you can, like us - and like the gods, be willed by the temptations of sin yourself. What makes your intentions true, what makes your objectives set in stone?

You speak of the gods in such a way, yet you too are vulnerable to corruption. With a mass of men, it would not be hard to gain the power that you seek. Much like the gods however you can will and command the foolish, those whom follow your transparent aims; whom or what is to say you cannot will them to claim the power for yourself and no other? Whom or what is to say that history does not repeat itself?

And as I said before... What you speak is true, your wisdom and knowledge I do not question. The only thing that I may question here, today - is your intentions."

*Daedren unhooks his staff from his shoulder, grasping the tip with his right hand and leaning on it as he takes out a half-eaten day-old apple from his inner-robes, taking a bite from it then slowly conealing the apple within his robes once more.*

(( An interesting read if I say so myself, I hope to see more interesting and quirky posts in the near-future. ))

-He grandly raises forth his hands, proclaiming to the people.-

I see many of you are hesitant. Do you not see that your future prospects and welfare is at stake? The unwilling are still veiled and bound by chains, awaiting their release. I am disappointed and see the lack of courage many of you possess. How can this be so?

You fought for this land. You suffered for it as well.

Do not let the others suffer because you are not willing to offer your pledge.

Join the gods, or be crushed by the raging tides.
