*Reynard sets down a long piece of parchment and begins to write down the words slowly and carefully *

Citizens and Visitors of Renatus our government is now officially changed as per ruling of the decree of the Reagent of the Imperial Nation of Renatus, Lord Reynard of the House Lycian. It shall follow that all must observe and obey these men of office as they are deserving of this high honor and are working for the good of the people of not only this Nation, but those Renatus has contact and otherwise dealings with.

Our new leadership shall be led by the Phoenix Emperor who shall lead the nation in times of war and peace, for glory and for honor. Lineage shall continue through the first-born child and they shall continue as long as they prove to be worthy leaders. If the family should prove to be one of bad leadership or in any ways proving to not be a leader deserving of the honor of office they can be removed by a unanimous vote of the council and then the Princes of the Empire's lands shall convene at once to vote in a new Royal Family.

The Emperor may then name a second in line if he so chooses to besides his Royal Heir. He is named Heir Apparent until such a time as the Emperor is dead or wishes to give up his throne. Then shall he be crowned Emperor unless he is not yet worthy or is yet too young.

The Second in command of the Nation is our Reagent who shall lead when in times of no Emperor or in times where the Heir Apparent is yet too young for the throne. Yet he also leads with the council in daily work of our Nation and is an adviser to the Emperor.

Those who govern the Nation are members of the Ashen Council. These Ministers represent all parts of our most noble Nation and work together to create laws, discuss war and peace, and for any and all mighty changes to our fair Nation, however alone they each govern portions of our lands people and work for the betterment of that section and the nation as a whole.

Those who govern the Realms of our Nation may have their own titles or otherwise named based on their realms governing, but as a whole they are known as Princes. They are to govern several plots of the Emperors Nation in his stead. They have a right to tax, and otherwise govern their Realm, but they must submit to the overall ruling of the Emperor and his Council. They may come to court to receive aid and advice from the Emperor and his court. They also may become Royals themselves if they prove to be leaders of a much higher standing and the Emperor flaunts or misuses his position.

Below in the Realms who govern individual cities are those named Lords of the land. They are n charge of their city and mayhaps the surrounding area if they own command of it in their Prince's name, as well as the Emperor's good will.

Each city may then also elect a Representative known as a Courtier who may attend court for the sake of their city. They represent the people of their city and their honor and good standing reflect that of the city that they so represent. They may come for aid to their Princes as well, but their place lies mainly within court.

Below that are called Counts who own small land or estates in the name of their Prince and are subject to the ruling of such. They also as nobility may attend court, and if they so choose they may one day create a city of their own to rule thereby becoming Lord of that Land.

The lowest then rank of Nobility is that of the Nobile. He is but noble in name and has yet to earn his right for power beyond that of any normal man. He may earn himself an estate from his Prince of the Emperor and thereby become a true noble and a Count of his land.

Below nobility lies the various high positions of good standing such as the Magisters who are ones of strong mind, and live to serve the people from their training in the Magistry. They serve with their grand knowledge of medicine, magic, alchemy, and otherwise assist in the improvement of the education of the land.

This also includes the Knights who are noble in their own right of character and otherwise purpose. They are fighters and engineers, they work to protect the people, never to harm or create war. They themselves are men who use war to create peace, and the sword for good.

This is the goverment as set down by Lord Reynard of the House Lycian, first of his name, Reagent of the Imperial Nation of Renatus.

*Lets the ink dry on the parchment then he hands it to the Royal Scribe Josef Timothee. When he has made copies these are set on the boards of Renatus and sent to each of the leaders of the continent.*

((To be a Noblie you must either be a donator of the rank required or RP becoming one, and to become a Count you must also have a Noble House post, which shall be explained soon.))

((Ah! A complete feudal system you worked on before the Phoenix Revolution? This is definitely very original, I like it. I suppose Princes are choose by you?))

Lona smiles in relief.

"Excellent, Renatus has a king that knows what he is speaking about."

Tylos reads one of the notes and smiles. He then begins to wonder who will be in the council and who will decide who is.

Josef rubs his sore wrist, after scribing copies for hours. He mutters, 'They don't pay me enough...'

((Do you want to update the political systems page on the wiki with this? All of them need an overhaul))

*reads the parchment and then chuckles to himself

What an amazing idea! I hope that the residents get a say in as much as the rest of us. I only hope that whoever rules the land will be as fair and kind as ever.
