Today, I built a prototype for a machine that can mass produce books.

It takes a specially engraved iron plate for each book. ((iron block)) This should revolutionize the book producing world.

Excellent, I was expecting some overly large contraption which would take up half the library

it's already so loud in there i've taken to reading at the farm, but that has a certain ellegance about it, and as said by others, should greatly allow knowledge to be distributed further, maybe to the point of the books being sold.

We could even create books to hand out to Mali'Aheral, should we come across them in distant lands, explaining how to find us; possibly in basic elvish should it fall into the hands of one less pure
