Er? How does the amount of people who agree with you relate to the truth? It doesn't. As I said, a opinion is a opinion, but do not say that your opinion is facts, as of right now it is he said she said, and I think I trust -The entire staff team- over Availer at this point. This was not just Vaq's decision, so don't think it is. Also... your not going to be banned, sorry but this server is not a dictatorship, they welcome all posts except for flaming, and you have not crossed that line yet.

I get it now, its vaq's fault that Availer only got online maybe once a week, and availer would not let them do anything without permission from him before implementing something new and cool for the server, i see. So its vaq's fault that availer just wanted the money, its vaq's fault that the whole server was hurting because of what availer chose to do, its vaq's fault that the entire gm team wanted availer out too, and its vaq's fault that he didnt say anything before the gm team started talking about it too. So from what you are saying its vaq's fault that the server is doing so well now, its vaq's fault the the server has non-stop amazing updates and plugins either implemented or talked about every week since availer was ousted. Its vaq's fault that we actually have a new map now with all the biomes and beauty that there is now, and its Vaq's fault that the server is actually still up and running because vaq paid the bill when availer would not.

You make a good point, let's blame Vaq :3

Drama its all drama i know it all to well. I'm an admin/leader on a different game and boy do i understand drama...

I've only been here a short time and im not the best RP'r but this servers pretty cool and i have no idea what happened as i just joined recently but... I know that admin teams dont do anything that serious as to remove a founder without what they thought is a LAST resort

So if the guy was absent and the server was suffering for it then the logical choice to keep the place alive is to take action and make sure it survives at all costs. Sometimes that means doing things that arent popular... thats the choice a leader makes.. its the for the best of the group and not everyone is gonna agree.

So far i think Vaqs done a pretty good job if that changes ill let people know what i think could be better or changed... until then have fun?

also i think Availer coulda just emailed Vaq or on site if he was serious about wanting to rejoin and possibly work things out instead of just bombarding the public to sow seeds of distrust.

thats just my opinion dont hate me for it :)

This...this is just ridiculous. It's funny how when things like this pop up you can see just how polarized a community can be. There's always going to be two sides, though they may not exactly be even in size, and both sides always believe beyond a doubt that they are right. There is never facts because each side is based off of one person's side. It's difficult to get to the heart of it because two differing viewpoints create two differing stories with wholly different opinions on who is in the wrong. After sides are chosen, people take their stances. Viewpoints hardly change and most are inflexible. Bickering ensues and chaos erupts.

That's what this is and that's what it's going to be if people don't take the time to think for themselves or look past their iron-clad beliefs. In the end this story is "he said, she said" and you need to accept that there is nothing more you need to know or make known. Each comment, flame and opinion grates against the beliefs of the other side. Even compliments, to the wrong person, are a mistake in this situation. Cut through your opinions, vaq's words and avail's words. Realize that the situation was this:

LotC was made by availer. From what people say, including vaq, availer was a cool guy. Understood. Availer was big part of the server in the early days and, for whatever reason, he eventually slowed in his support for LotC. This created problems with payments and his inactivity led to players leaving as well. This led to DEMOTION, not banning. The ban came from a whole different situation, a situation in which a hurt man railed against what he viewed as an injustice and what vaq and the GM team viewed as necessary. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. Doesn't matter. Availer insulted and flamed the GM's enough to lead to his ban. Had he NOT been immature about the situation, perhaps a deal might have been worked out and in time his continued work with the server could have led to re-promotion. It didn't though and there isn't a way to tell so it doesn't really make sense to talk about it.

THAT is what led to his ban. Even this current attempt is nothing more than another immature stab at Vaq. Situations like this lead to mistrust and dissent, not to acceptance and camaraderie. Especially if you consider the fact that this is almost a year later. Should he have wanted to continue on LotC in truth, all he had to do was message the GM team in private and speak with them like a rational civilized adult.

Well personally I don't see how this situation could have been avoided if things were going as badly as you say Vaq and I believe you when you say they were.

However that said any game is not a perfect system and i am thankful we have people in charge that can be air and level headed in this kind of event.

I love LOTC and I for one am thankful you stepped in to take control of the situation in such a collected manner, I will always support LOTC and am thankful that you have managed to keep the server going even during those times when it cost all the GM's personally.

You have my full support on this GM's and I thank you for not holding any facts about this back from us.

Vaq does a great job and he makes amazing updates but if Availer still were a staff member, dont you think he would? Availer "the wandering wizard" Were a great guy and he did a good job. But he gets into school and have to much to do, and instead of letting him take a break they demote him.

Really Fabian? Your IP betrays you. Do you think the mods would sit back and watch as you said you'd stop openly accusing Vaq about a situation you clearly know less than nothing about, and then get on your alternate account to further your nonsensical logic?

While I encourage members to always be honest about their opinions you should never ever make posts like this.

You may feel deluded that your ban came as a result of "the man keeping you down" because you spoke the truth. But no, and to avoid further uproar I'm locking this thread and explaining why I'm banning you for a week for everybody to see:

1. Excessive flaming of our development staff
   
2. Offering useless and unhelpful conspiracies about the nature of the "Availer and Vaquixine situation"
   
3. (This is the big no-no that I will never ever tolerate) After agreeing to stop making totally unfounded and unhelpful comments that gave no detail or reason as to why you felt that way, you switched onto an alternate account in order to continue spreading your dissatisfaction.
