Hey everyone, I've gotten some messages from various orc players giving ideas but they aren't always heard or considered. So I made this post if any Orc has an idea for something to add to our culture/RP.

Post your lore and RP ideas everyone is welcome to share their ideas if majority of the orc community like it we may start to RP it out! Just make sure you thoroughly explain it and how it can be implemented! Make sure it doesn't stray too far from our current RP that it wouldn't make sense! :3\

Also if you are a non-orc or looking to become an orc, feel free to ask some questions!

While I've never rolled an Orc and I know very little (some) about their lore and culture, but I had an idea the other night and I've been looking for a place to post this.

Would it be too lore-breaking to have an orc who was raised by humans? I know there's an orc word for someone who actually just lives with them, but say he/she had been raised as if they were from Salvus for example.

I'm not planning on rolling the described character, but I wanted to get an opinion on it from someone who knows orcs well.

Thoughts?

My orc was born into a human guild, however he was teased and outcasted so he left and joined the orcs. Their is nothing against it but having a baby orc living with humans it kind of like having a bull in a china shop. Recipe for disaster. And if a bother birthed a half-orc child she would most likely be split in half and/or die.

Hmmm, so I suppose an orc child would still have "orcish tendencies" like to fight and stuff? I just thought that if it was raised from birth as a human then it'd act like a human. Either way, only wondering.

Well, all Orcs do have Bloodlust, it's one of the curses put upon us. They would indeed have some Orcish tendencies for that reason, even if they were raised as a human.

We have an orc with us raised by Halflings (Jutra).

An orc raised by humans would act like a human, but would occasionally fall into bloodlust. Orcs also talk the way they do because of their tusks and biological make up. It is possible for orcs to speak common, but it's more difficult and requires extra care and attention. So an orc being raised by humans would require extra care to speak common. And even then he would likely still have some of his "orcish ascent" (because it's biological and not mental). For instance; most orcs I know that speak common still slip in or misspeak when speaking common just because it's difficult. The bloodlust would just kick in at random times though. Like if you were an orc child in a classroom then you might just go into a bloodlust and start trying to attack/kill those around you. You might be reading him a bed time story and he tries to ring your neck. For instance; Jutra is our farmer and she takes out her bloodlust by butchering the animals on the farm. Also, orcs grow MUCH faster than humans. Orcs finish childhood around age 8, so in 8 years your baby is an adult. So you can't treat an 8 year old orc like an 8 year old human. Imagine trying to teach an 18 year old by putting them into 3rd grade.

It is 100% possible to have an orc raised by humans. But you have to be aware of all the consequences that would have, and they would need VERY special care to actually fit into society and develop properly.

Any orc raised by pinkies would be called a whitewash and severely mocked until they get their act together.

Also, was possibly thinking of writing a story about Krug's other childrens, Dom's brothers. Is there any new Krug lore I've missed out on? And would said story be well received?

I was going to go the route of "Don't know it? Make crap up!", like I did for Dom. I was thinking of doing Rex next, actually. Because he seemed like kind of a moody, nasty dude when I wrote him in the Tale of Dom. He could have an interesting story in him.

Either way, it's not going to happen until I finish my exams in a couple of weeks. Bleh. Stupid school eatin' into my LOTC time.

His called Rax, and there is Lore on Rax so there is no need for it, all the Clash of Clans was mainly based on him.

I've had some confusion about whether it was Rex or Rax. I think I've heard both. I guess I thought it was Rex because I connected it with the Rex title.

So, are there other ancient orcs that nobody cares about that I can write stuff for? Gorkil and Lur obviously already have their lore, so I can't go sticking my fingers in there.

Seriously, give me anything. I'll start writing Orc poetry if I must.

Hm. Ode to a Mushroom Growing on the Skull of a Dwarf.

Ooooh! Can I make it up? Can I? I'll do a story for him like I did for Dom!

lol you can Gorkil is very interesting as he started alot of culture.

For example Gorkil Mutilation ritualism comes from him.

Mogroka, sit down right now and write me a PM with absolutely everything already confirmed about Gorkil. Whether he was a shaman, a warrior, etc. what his greatest accomplishments were. His mates' names. His eye color and hair color. His personality. His likes and dislikes. His relationship with his siblings. His beliefs. His children's names. Etc.

Because if you don't, I'm going to make it up. I already sort of gave him a personality in Dom's story. He's very serious and a good leader, but kind. Is that good?
