You ride towards the Black Keep, knowing the King would be there. As you near it you encounter the plague blockades. When you finally reach the Black-Keep, Knights and Soldiers are gathered outside. You dismount your horse and go on to enter. As you near the door to enter, you are stopped by two knights and scribe.

The scribe ask you your name and what is it that you seek. After you tell them, you are allowed to enter the first hall and you move forward, turning right to view the Throne Room. You see the King sitting on his high throne, as he listens to a man speaking about taxes. You look around seeing many Nobles, Knights, Scribes and people that have come to meet the King.

* Robert Howe and his Engineer Billow Irongut of the Crimson Pirates walk into the Throne room looking around to speak with King Godfrey. They are not as well dressed as the others in the room for they pay the Iron price for their clothing rather than the gold. They wait a while and finally get to the front of the line that is forming so that people may meet the King. They both approach him and they both bow respectfully to him for they know who their betters are. Even Pirates know who and who not to respect. Robert Howe decides it is time to speak in his best accent he can perform in the common tongue.

"Good King Godfrey I am Captain Robert Howe of the group of Privateers known only as the Crimson Pirates. I wish to make several offers and some demands of you my king. I will list my offers first then let you respond in your own time and then I will tell you my demands then you in your rightful judgement may accept or deny my offers and demands.

My offers include. The Fealty of the Privateers under my command. My fleet of ships whenever you need them in battle if you or one of your most noble generals are attacking a coastal settlement will need. I also offer you any future ships the Crimson Fleet may acquire to assist you in battle. I offer my knowledge of the sea's if you need someone leading a fleet with the right experience. Last of all I offer you any other services that the Crimson Pirates may offer for you in future."

* He then steps back and waits for King Godfrey's response before he tells him his demands.

Boiendl hobbles up to Black Keep his arse sore from the horse ride there. As he walks through the main gate he smells a most wonderful smell coming from the kitchen, he quickly hurries there to see the servants at work. He looks around curiously to see if his meal was being prepared for the evening.

Boiendl quickly says "Wenches, where be the soup, I demand soup within the hour." Quickly the servants get to work on Boiendl's soup, he smiles happily as he watches them create his most favorite meal. His face quickly turns into a frown and he hobbles into the throne room and looks around, he sees the scribe and hobbles over to him. He grins and says "Eh... me name is Boiendl Silverblade, I be the Bishop of Renatus. I shall be around do not worry." He nods to the scribe who promptly nods back, he slowly walks over to the King and bows, slowly he hobbles over to a chair next to the King and sits down. A few hours later servants walk in with Boiendl's soup, he smiles happily as he sees it. He rises and quickly takes the soup from the servant, he slowly sits down not trying to get his hot soup on himself. After he sits he smells his soup, shaking his head slightly "Me daughter makes it better." He sighs and lifts a soup spoon and brings it down into the thick soup, he brings it to his mouth and blows off the steam. After blowing off the steam he sticks the spoon in his mouth and is surprised at the taste, he believed it was quite good. He takes the spoon out of his mouth and sets his soup to the side, slightly stirring it, he looks up to the king and gives a nod.

* Robert then steps forward to speak his demands of the King to the King and the Prince.

“Now my king and my prince. My demands are quite simple and I hope are reasonable for you to accept. My first demand is a Countship for me and for a minor noble house and to be named First Lord of the Sea in order for a Renatian Navy to have an experienced Commander. My second demand is for my skilled Engineer Billow Irongut to be able to look at the schematics for Renatian cannons and boats to see if he can improve them maybe. Another demand is for my good friend Rodrigo Stark to be made a Knight under my command. I have one final demand but this one is optional in the way it does not effect any of the other demands it is a separate one. and and I would understand if you turned this one down. I wish that we start up a Renatian Navy for you most noble King so your nation may rule the humans on land and on the sea. I believe we can help Renatus Grow not only in the mainland but at sea also.”

* Robert then steps back to hear the Kings response.

Throdo slowly walks into the Black Keep with his walking stick, he takes a stick of bread and chews on it. He reches the throne room where he seats himself in one of the chairs. Then pulls out a scroll

"Yer majesty- I wish to speak with ye about the new aquired land, it would be most honorable if I would be able to talk about whatwe do with the new cities such as Solace and the hole known as Riven. Shall we repair such buildings or tear them down? I am fully capable of both yer majesty."

*Halboron approaches the kings throne and kneels. He stays knelt for several seconds before the king motions for him to stand*

Your majesty, I come today to ask your permission to create a new Renatian house. After recent happenings, I have been banished from the Elendil family and from their county of Ildon, but still have two houses sworn to me and several Ex-Elendils that follow me, including my son Thorenir II. Unlike last time when I left the Elendils by choice, this time I was banished and have no intentions of returning to them, just as they have no intentions of letting me back, and so I ask you, the Great King Godfrey of Renatus, permission to found house Arendor, to serve this nation through thick and thin, under your will.

Althos dismounts from his horse, quickly handing the reins to a stable boy nearby to the Black Keep. He dusts himself down and begins to walk across the walkway, nodding to the guards standing outside the main gates as he passes by. He walks with confidence, though feels more nervous every time he thinks about talking to the King, such a powerful man could have him killed in an instant. Nonetheless, he makes his way toward the doors to the Keep and is stopped just outside it by a scribe. The scribe beckons him over and ask him his name, to which Althos replies

"Althos Silverblade."

The scribe takes a quick note of this, and then waves his hand toward the doors of the throne room after exchanging a brief nod of the head with two Knights stationed alongside him.

Althos smiles slightly at the scribe in thanks, and turns himself backs toward the doors of the Keep. He walks inside, and gazes along the walls and ceiling of the first hall - he had never experienced such a large building, nor a grand one. Althos turns toward the Throne Room and walks through the open doors; the room is quietly buzzing with the sound of nobles and men of God talking amongst themselves, each turns to look at him as he enters, a fairly new face amongst the people of Renatus. Althos glimpses the King sitting majestically upon his throne, Prince Richard standing tall at his side. The two men cast their gaze upon him, and Godfrey raises his hand for silence; instantly the men of the room cease their talking. He then looks to Althos, and indicates that he might speak.

"Your Majesty, I, Althos Silverblade, do come before thee on this day to request that I may retain a piece of land gifted to me by a most loyal friend, to whom the land itself was gifted by its first owner. The property I do speak of is a manor house just South of this keep, in this Duchy of Pruvia. The property hath been abandoned for many a year, the last true owner passed away and the Elf to whom he gave it to has no use for it. He has passed it unto me, but 'tis not official. Had the Duchy still an owner I would beseech them also, but the last owner of Pruvia was a man by the name of Ithelias, and my father did inform me that he is no longer in control of the Duchy. So I ask not for all of Pruvia, but for a mere house that lies upon it which hath been gifted to me by a dear friend."

Althos looks up and his eyes meet those of the King; he has said all that he wished to, and now awaits a reply.

Halboron, your request is granted. The King speaks, then looks at the Captain, I am afraid your requests are to much but of course hiring you is something I can do.

*Halboron bows, a large grin on his face*

Thank you, your grace. I promise you shall not regret your decision.

*Halboron Arendor proceeds to leave the keep, and ride off in the direction of Fort Boot with two house Arendor bannermen riding beside him*

*Ferror slowly walks up to the Black Keep, fatigued by such a long journey on foot. He pulls down his hood and brushes himself off, realising how dirty and scruffy he must look. As he walks up to an old looking scribe, he asks for Ferror's name, which he nervously gives. He shakes from his ankles, This King Godfrey is said to be a descendant from the One Horen! So he thinks he has his own right to be nervous. He finally walks into the grand Throne Room and nervously studies the crowd within it, which in turn study him back. He unsheaths his sword, and several guards come running at him, startled by the gesture, but with a wave from the king's hand and a nod that it tells them it is alright, they stop and turn around, with a slight look of dissapointment on there faces. Ferror continues to place his old sword infront of King Godfrey's feet, and finally kneels down. Ferror begins to speak, but stutters slightly. After serveral embarrasing moments he gets his voice back, and says*

"My lord liege. I, Ferror Roberts, hath come to thou realm in seek of thou vassalage. My father had once served as a warrior of Oren in the days of Aegis, and under The Grand Duke Tarus. I wish to fulfill my fathers wish, which is also mine, to become a Warrior of Combat, of Justice, A knight Of Horen."

*Ferror says the last sentence with certain dignaty, and he finally looks up into the king's eyes.*
