To Lay Waste On Empty Space

As Sauros walks in front of the large conglomeration, the Horde of the Subudai, observing each and every one of them; the sands begin to pick up off their silky blankets and whip through the hot air. Each one peering with smirks, snickers, and confident smiles as Sauros takes out his composite bow and holds it up in the air. The Horde strikes again, at multitudes of settlements, to clear the land and let the natural flow of life take back what is theirs, for man to abandon such settlements adds insult to injury. The fact that industrious man feels they can own land by building a structure is preposterous, but to abandon them without removing your structures, as if the structure stands a testament that such and such a person still owns the land is criminal.

And so the Horde marches once again, to battle such arrogance and laugh at the face of greed, the Subudai will wipe these settlements from the face of the earth so that the earth may bring it's goods forth for man to barter with nature for. The wells have been built, the water-table broken into and water drawn with buckets; the Subudai is ready and well-supplied to do their deeds

The Objective: To conquest the settlements listed below on the map and in text so we can raze them to the ground and raid supplies from them.

Time: Friday Afternoon, between 5PM to 10PM Eastern Standard

Location: Boria, Enismor, other locations

SubudaiAttack.png

RP Reason: We are razing and raiding settlements that were in our paths upon our migration north. The Subudai have scouted for many elven days and seen no activity and find the settlements an affront to nature and find it insulting that man abandons their greed of owning and being the master of regions of land and then abandon them so wantonly, leaving them to weigh heavily on the land with no purpose.

[Lastly, I do not want any Metagaming, especially seeing as those settlements have had NO activity! Thank You]

[i do not care, I have seen no activity, and I mean it. If I see activity conspiciously at 5PM on Friday, then I will be duly frustrated. Enismor is very small as well, oddly only able to hold perhaps 5-6 people's homes.]

((A new Human empire. It's about time the humans actually tried to conquer everything.))

Me being stupid. Disregard.))

(( You guys would save a lot of time if you hired ships to bring you north. But who has the ships to take your hoard north? I just don't know :D ))

((When we do decide to sail, we will make our own boats. And traveling on foot is more fun for rp. We like to build it up from nomadic people in tents and wagons to...who knows. Not skip ahead and borrow your boats. Just my thoughts.))

(( Enismor has housing below it, and the leader is on vacation ( His forum name is nickdabeast then some random numbers ) so people abandoned it. I think if you wait for the kingdoms plugin to be implemented the butthurt will me minimal.

Also, we don't want another Normanhirm or whatever, maybe make sure the owners know what is happening OOCly.

PS Your logic is flawed in my opinion. Why can't we raise Alras? I never see people there, but it is assumed there are peasents and such. Enismor has the capabilites to have villagers, where as Boria and those others don't. ))

[[You obviously haven't looked too well into Enismor because I have been going in and out of it for about about a month. I have stayed underground for my time there because that was where I have been working. I haven't used the gate because I don't have perms, so I use the back way. However if you do not believe me, I can let you in and show you the druid grotto.]]

[[if a settlement cannot withstand one or two of it's players going on a brief hiatus without falling into relative abandonment, it is not meant to stand. Sack it, sack it good and let the one or two players claiming it die on that little hill and be buried beneath the rubble.]]

[[You see he can't because his roleplay reason is wrong. I've marched people in and out of there and there has been plenty of activity this weekend alone.]]

My roleplay reasoning is not wrong, if somehow citizenry want to take a stand, then let them. It is from my character's eyes, not OOC, please do not mix, that is called metagaming.

As for Enismor's Leader, he has been banned for eight days.

(( Just to specify, my post wasn't hate. I just think Enismor shouldn't be on that list. You go to over half of the settlements and there is rarely anyone there, including some big cities. ))

[That is the purpose, the Subudai cleans up the environment for everyone's eyes, we will be moving to bigger settlements, but I like to RP progression.]

[Just like to say the village on the far left is of my property and is in role play owned by the nation of Alras currently. The reason it has seemed a little abandoned recently is because in England, which is where most of the inhabitants live it is exam time. Much like it is for me. If I had the time I would actually help out and invest more of my time into that place. Also I have had a little upset as in being banned for a small time but am now back. Another reason it may seem a little abandoned is because in Alras we have made it so people can currently buy houses in the city to try and bring more liveliness into our great city.]
