A spine chilling wave of loneliness drifts across the island city of Va'khajra, nothing can be heard but the whispering of the trees in the wind and the gentle waves smoothly washing over the beaches. The occasional bird flutters and chirps, small jungle creatures scatter away under bushes, the moon begins to gently set on the horizon of the calm and empty island.

The dream of survival was the only thing that allowed them to continue, the hope would drive the survivors of the volcano on, to live and to thrive in a new land. The land localy known as Asulon. Asulon had brought them many things, such knowledge of the outside world, oh so different from the one they came from. It had given them purpose, it had given them another chance, but there was one thing that the once mighty race of Kha' overlooked.

The current walking creatures of Asulon had treated them with disgust and death, never before had the Kha' seen such neglection towards them. The citizens of Asulon clearly did not agree with the Kha' moving in, and so they acted against it.

The Kha' came from a mighty empire, strong and successful with no enemies and a bright looking future. Most of the race had perished in the volcano incident and the few survivors that were left, also began to fall. The Kharajyr numbers now dwindle, the race looks on the path to complete extinction and their empire has fallen. Too many Kha' have fallen now, it was just too late for aid.

The race have little options and word of yet another battle comming has reached them. If something was to be done, it needed to be done soon.

OOC section:

So the race doesn't really have enough members anymore to last as a nation, there has been a recent decline in numbers and RP on the island itself has gone stale.

The orc attack comming soon was organised by myself and the orcs to give us an IC reason to be forced off the island, allowing us far more RP with the rest of Asulon.

I want to know how YOU think we should continue our RP, there will still be an app process no matter what but it may need to be changed depending on what we decide to do.

Option 1:

After we have leave the island, the empire collapses and we scatter into the world of Asulon and go our seperate ways to find our own RP. As I have said we don't have enough people to last as a nation so this option seems to be the most likely AT THE MOMENT. Things may change, but maybe we shouldn't risk waiting for something that "may" happen. Kha' would be far less restricted on what they can and can't do if this was to happen.

Option 2:

We try and find some aid and build a new town/city on the mainland, making it easy for us to find RP and making it easier for people to RP with us. If we decided on this option, our hate for apes would decrease massivly as we know we wont be getting anywhere if we offend everybody we see. The idea of a new trade nation was spread around but I'm not sure we have the numbers to even start a town at the current time, let alone a trade nation.

Option 3:

After we have been driven off the island, we find some allies and take it back, this gives us some good RP in the short term, but not necessarily in the long term, it kind of puts us back where we started. This option means we basicly continue as we are now with the same hatered towards ape and the same lore.

Option 4:

This option is for you, let us know if you think there is another path to take in the comments.

I often have friends telling me they have Kha characters that can't really do much because the race is so restricting, but I mainly think that option 1 would be the best choice for you guys.

@Hwaldar:

The problem is, we are constantly getting killed, hunted and skinned which does make good RP yes, but it's getting EXTREMELY repetative and dull, nobody likes being killed every time they try and start RP. Which is why we would need to tone down on the hatred.

While I like option one, I think option two might be more interesting. I mean, it doesn't need to be a large town, does it? It could be a small village of some sorts, perhaps.

Option 2, make it small first (not too small, village size maybe) and grow when we have more numbers.

Edited: If we do, middle is sacrifice area not big as temple but a stand. Sacrifice captured criminials, animals. Other race can bring sacrifice to show us more respect. Then we have stands and houses.

If we do not have our own 'village' what if Kha' fed up of other races being mean and have no home. We will be on mainland and can go out adventuring. This place will be a safe place to get respect, and shelter. We might even welcome other races that respect our ways along as we trade to boost our relationships.

Sad to say that this lack of activity is what prevented me from settling into the Kha. It's a real shame, because I would have loved to RP as Sa'Rhakka :)

I wish the Kha luck with whatever you choose. But for now, I think I'll keep Sa'Rhakka on hold until things get a bit more settled for your race.

I do agree, with most, on option two. I believe that it would led to some interesting RP. Anyways, it can just start as a village.

We are, I repeat; We are NOT, going to be joining any City state, or a Duchy. The kha' would never bend their knee.

Don't listen to him :P If RP leads down that road, then it may indeed happen.

Go which ever way the RP goes. If the Kha will no longer be loyal to each other, then they will separate on their own.
