Conquest:

Conquest is the act of military subjugation of an enemy by force of arms. In other words it is the de jure incorporation of some territory into another geo-political entity (either adjacent or non-contiguous). Usually, it is implied that the territory and population being annexed is the smaller, more peripheral, and weaker of the two merging entities,

barring physical size.

Rewards:

-If the opposing side chooses to leave, or is defeated, then Kha' will take control of the island and all remaining supplies will be taken for the good of the race.

-We set up camp and prepare an official charter.

Shortly after the visit to Holm, Tiazar and his trusted friend and Aelkos Dato, began to search the lands of Asulon for what would one day be, the haven to Kha', it was a but a dream to them, they knew their chances of ever finding such a place were slim - but the hope that such a place could existe drove them on.

The place they needed couldn't just be any place, they needed somewhere that would shelter them from enemies with the shield of their allies. They needed somewhere to be at peace, but at the same time ready for war. They needed somewhere to stay connected, yet remain secluded. And most of all, they needed somewhere to rekindle their community, and the connection to their Goddess.

The ocean was calm that night... nothing but the faint squaking of birds in the distance, and the gentle breeze flowing over the vast sea. Tiazar and Dato rowed out across it, determination clear on their faces, fuled by the idea of a new beginning.... And there it was, the first sighting of land, Tiazar's eyes widened as it came into view.

"Luuk Dato! Thissa islawnd us jus' tha right distance frum tha 'igh elvez.. Andda Holm! Leet uz gu see iffa eet eessa emptay."

Dato slowly lifts his head up, following Tiazar's gaze to the island, he speaks almost perfect common compared to Tiazar, with just a hint of Va'khajrian escaping his lips.

"My Tla'.... It is unlikely that this island will... be empty... The apes get everywhere... and this place isn't too far from the other kingdoms"

Tiazar waves the thought away, grabbing onto the front of the boat with both paws as the craft bumps hard onto the beach. Tiazar throws himself over, eagerly making his way up the steep hill before him. Dato follows suit, shaking his head slightly, releasing a long sigh. Tiazar's face drops as he reaches the tip of the hill, narrowing his eyes at the sight before him. Dato stands by his side, motioning to the building that lay behond the hill.

"You see my Tla'? They're everywhere. No place for us here."

Dato begins to make his way back down the hill, leaving Tiazar standing there in dismay. Tiazar snaps his head round to Dato.

"Wait... Luuk... there'a nawt thut manee buildangs... issa thure? We'a cun make 'em move Dato! Theyya nu threat tu tha mightay Kha"

Dato scratches the back of his neck, rejoining Tiazar at his side.

"Well... Maybe. But let us search the rest of the island before any hasty choices are made hm? Best to understand the situation fully first"

Tiazar and Dato began stalking their way round the island, winding through the thick forests, taking in everything they saw, from caves to ape buildings. In total they discovered 3 buildings, one being a small farm at the very centre, one a little cottage and the last a big house floating just off the coast. Dato chuckles lightly.

"Well my Tla'.... perhaps... you are right. But is a battle the best option? The Kha' do not need anymore bloodshed"

Tiazar closes his eyes, knowing that Dato is right but not keen on admiting it.

"Wull.... Tiazar suppose su.... Oh! Tiazar wull puut up notices on tha 'omes! Andda tell thum tu move out orra they wull be'a crushed! If they du nawt move... thun eet ussa battle fur them."

Dato, not too pleased by the response, nods his head, knowing that he wont get anything better from Tiazar.

"Very well my Tla, I shall inform the rest of the Kha' survivors of the plans"

Tiazar bows his head slightly, a wide grin spread across his face.

"Guud... Sa'vi Dato. Tiazar wulla puut up tha notices thun"

Dato takes a deep bow, before turning and walking back to the small boats, withdrawing his quill and notebook. Dato rips out several pages of the book, writing a few bried letters and carrying them with him onto the boat. Tiazar does a similar thing, using the paper as notices, pinning them to the homes that they came across.

Iffa yu' stay, thun yu' wull die on thussa island. Tiazar will nawt be merciful tu those who'a nawt heed 'is warnang. Geet awf this island peacefully tu prevent tha bloodshed frum happanin'.

The notice does NOT state an exact time ICly. The residents know an attack is comming, but not when.

Avoid metagaming, by which I mean trying to help the home owners without knowing of this warclaim ICly. This also means you don't suddenly appear with an army on the day of the attack and not on any other day.

Tiazar currently resides with his allies at Holm, giving him and the Kha' direct access to this island via sea.

Skar tears the letter from the bird's talons, ruining the parchment, he takes a single look over the the text, and takes a single bite from a burnt porkchop nearby. He'd not seen Tiazar since Malinor, and Dato since before that, word from them was good 'specially the news that they brought.

Skar relaxes his muscles and ruffles through a small -duffle bag- finding his proud heirloom and his armour, taking another bite from the porkchop, and throwing it away. Skar set off to find his kin.

"Shud b' fun."

Proceeds to strut about the ape city of Arethor. Watching as the 'nobles' and the 'knights' of the city openly abuse the ones they are sworn to protect. His faith in the apes ever wavering.

Skar sighs.

"'Lotta fun kill'ang ape'z... lawtz."

Ardene sighs sadly as she sees the sign left at the island at her science base. Remembering the kha leader, Tiazar she begins to draft a letter to him.

Dear Tla'Tiazar of the mighty Kharajyr,

It has come to my attention that you seek conquest of my island. [The one to the south-east.] I ask you to change your idea of conquering my peaceful research station. I have used the land for research for the mali'ahreal people that you have had the pleasure knowing. Perhaps we may speak at Haelun'or? I truly do not wish to have the bloodshed of your people or of mine but I do not wish to lose this island either. Perhaps an embassy can be built on the island.

Tiazar plucks the letter from the bird, a low growl escapes his through his teeth as he glares angrily at the letter, writing down his own response on the back, sending the note back on the same bird.
