Orks and stealth/sneak

Ok we all know that stealth is a improvement for pvp in many aspects, and people tend to get the skill to be better at pvp.Its not only the orcs who do it but all races do it.

Orks dont do this,if you are a regular run of the mill orc you canot have stealth. At all.Dont spek up in stealth, use another skill to help out the nation. But some orks can use it,which leads me to my next topic:

We are currently making a new branch of the Krughai the Vaunhai or the Komandoz. These orcs are a sneakier stealthier kind of orc already and they are chosen by higher ups in the military to train these skills, they serve as the nations skouts and spec ops soldiers. We will soon make trial for all orcs who wish to enter these ranks but only about 1-3 will be accepted.(Probably today it will happen)

Shamans,Im not sure about this but I heard it from some people that ancestor focused shamans can use this but I need to confirm it with Blawharag.

If you are not in any of these 2 groups you cannot have freaking stealth. You just cant,so get a skill which will benefit the nation!!!

Always thought it was kinda goofy that huge orcs could sneak around. :P

Well Orcs can try and sneak... It'd just be very very dificult for them. A Goblin on the other hand, totally diffrent story. In combat, they either need to rely on their creations or stealth/agility in order to kill their target. This is, of course, just my view.

I chose sneak not just for my human character but my orc character. It makes sense, ive always RP'd with Marggbog not being the strongest of uruks. Sure he can klomp a few orcs, but hes never won a fight against Grool or Gorgul. When I RP'd in the Krug's gauntlet, I would usually run along the stilts within 20seconds without falling off although I have fell into the water before. Marggbog uses sneaky tactics rather than brute force to defeat an enemy. He doesn't have the energy or agility of an elf, but he has been trying to improve on that IC so hopefully I can get into the Vaunhai.

The Komandoz are not just a bunch of orks who have the skill its a mindset. They think that the best place they can hit is from where the enemy cant see. They jump around, hide and do alot of stabby stabby. They think that if they can get behind the enemy lines and cut them coen from the back that their wining. They also have a black hand painted in their face because black means sneakier

The bulk of these would be gobos, or mutt orcs [half-breeds] since typically a half blood orc is smaller [[Example, Jutra who is half halfling is like 5ft, urara who was half human at 6 feet, one of my characters grandchild is half dwarf and is like 4 feet, etc.]

I believe people apply the 'logic of stealth' as if it is a World of Warcraft... I believe 'Rogue' feature. Stealth can be applied to larger creatures such as Orcs in the sense that in their homeland, the crags, deserts, and such; they are much better at using the landscape to hide them. The War Uzg is not a jungle or a boreal forest, but a harsh desert and rocky landscape, thus allowing them to use the landscape to hide them. If anything, one can even think of the stealth's dodge feature as the Orcs in their larger and rougher biological features taking the pain with nary a wound.

I'm half orc, half goblin, I believe that testifies well enough to having 100 stealth.

I'd say most orcs in the Vaunhai would be Lurs(The hunter/pizzgoth clan of the War Uzg and usually a little slimier then most other orcs.), Grokks(Most orcs within this clan have goblin blood, that and they are a branch off of Lur.), goblins, and half breeds.

If you are a halfbreed you would be smaller and trchnically sneakier but they wouldnt br able to be masters at ork sneak right away, they would need to train like all other orks but they would have a advantage.

As I don't have a clan and live in the wilds to the north so far. I'm ether exploring the wilds north of the city or hunting in the out skirts so my sneak built up as a way to deal with creatures of the night as well as countless other races that call the wilds thier home. Also with unarmed being my fighting style it only makes more sense with the need to be all the closer to a creature before striking to deliver a fatal blow.

I do not see why everyone needs sneak. Right now I will not fight people that have it because it makes pvp unfair. Just get rid of it people, do not make up excuses why your character needs it. Even if you are a halfbreed, you do not really need it. Shamans... why do you need it? Basically people are just coming up with excuses so they can be better in pvp, that is what the orcs are being accused of and it is true. No matter what, an orc could disappear in battle for 5 seconds randomly. Maybe a dwarf could fall in a hole or an elf climb a tree, but what are orcs going to do? If you are using stealth as a way to be a better pvp'er, I am ashamed that you are an orc.

Orcs using stealth consist of

- Hunters who are trained to fight prey 8x their size, must use deceptive or tricks to defeat their foe, which can translate to stealth in 1v1 combat (hiding in bushes or dunes firing arrows at their foes as they ambush)

- Shamans who augment their fighting style with agility/dodging boosts, for example my character fights against lesser spirits of hunt to strengthen his sense of hunting and his ability to dodge and evade.

The main problem is that brute force Orcs should still exist but with the current way the skills are set up, PvP is kinda bonked until stealth is made into something which doesn't benefit direct PvP (perhaps even hurts it, buff when fighting indirectly like ambushes, but take penalties for rushing face-first into battle) or until another skill pops up like a Strength skill which gives similar bonuses but aims to give something to meat-head characters.

If anyone doesn't lump into the first or second category then they should not be using stealth and you can go yell at them. However, avoiding fights and generally complaining to Orcs isn't much of a solution, rather one should probably talk to Vaq about fixing stealth so it doesn't give a blatant PvP buff no matter the circumstance, or asking him to add another skill to counterbalance it.
