On this day, the Merach of the Rhodirs and our own Duke Torrhen have made peace, bringing an end to this war that has already raged on for too long! We may rejoice as peace returns to our most rich and fair land!".

Ildon News

By decree of his grace Torrhen Elendil, Duke of Westfall, Lord Marshal of Oren, and heir to the Adunian Crown, Lord Thorenir Elendil the Second is appointed as the High Thane of House Elendil, with Ser Martin Loyola, Lord Alasdair Caellach, and Ser Peter Shieldings serving under him as Thanes of House Elendil. Ser Gavin has also been appointed the new captain of the guard, and the Elendil bannermen forces have been reformed into the House Elendil Wardens. Ser Peter Shieldings has been given control of one of Ildon's gates and a garrison of four wardens, but his power as keeper of said gate does not extend over Wardens not of his garrison. All previous bannermen of House Elendil should obtain a new uniform from a Thane, Captain Gavin, Duke Torrhen, or Viscount Derrek, aswell as read the poster on the wall of the barracks for information about the reform. Wardens should also report to High Thane Thorenir or Thane Alasdair to have their name added to the official role. On another note, in this time of uncertainty the gates of Winterhall have been shut and a blockade built. Only soldiers, members of House Elendil, guests given entry by a member of House Elendil, and castle staff are permitted entry into the castle. This has been put in place to keep order, and shall be removed when situations settle down. Those who need a key from the blockade should contact a Warden to be given a copy of the gate key. The dreaded pumpkin man that has been terrorising our land for some time now has been put to justice. His head is now in Dralex's possession. Also, Warden Hanrahan made some rather foolish decisions leading his men this past week, and is now missing. Hanrahan will be punished for his actions, but upon return to Ildon he must NOT be executed or jailed, but instead brought before Duke Torrhen to be yelled at, before solely clearing all the snow in and around Ildon aswell as cleaning out the prison cells and feeding their inhabitants for the next twelve months. This sentence may be lengthened at Duke Torrhen's desire.

Martin walks into Winterhall noticing the poster hung on the wall, curious he walks over and inspects it, "A new announcement?" reading over the poster he notices his name, and smiles reading the announcement. Upon reading the rest he sees the news of Hanrahan sighing he says to himself "So, he went through with it..., well at least his punishment of shoveling the snow would serve useful".
