Dwarves, Qynians and any others at/near Karik may interact during]] Kamakura Morikuni settles his horse outside the large towering doors of Karik. He looks up in awe, yet remains in an emotionless composure. He turns to his Samurai that had accompanied him on the journey through these strange new lands. He looks to Hitoshi Saga and nods, the Samurai move uneasily on their saddles. Morikuni's hand is gripped tightly on the hilt of his katana, he remains unmoving. After a few moments he raises his hand, the drummers begin their beat, it echoes throughout the mountains. The beat continues until at last someone approaches. Morikuni turns to face Hitoshi Saga, Saga simply nods and rallies the men, they all turn and gallop away. "I cume tu speak tu dwarf lurds. I have heard you were told by the few GMs you talked to that it was OK for you to do this, seeing as it's not a race. However, not only were they incorrect, but they were overstepping they're boundaries in telling you this. Cultures do not just appear out of thin air, they need to develop and transition from one culture to another, otherwise they do not make sense. I see that you do have a lot of lore that is available, but the problem is that none of it is accepted. If people could just RP any new culture that they provided lore for, we'd have people walking around in teletubby costumes because they had lore explaining why their people felt it brought them spiritual awareness, or something like that. Again, I apologize, but you need to wait until your thread in the Your Lore and Ideas forum is accepted until you begin RPing this, accepting people, creating RP threads, etc. ]] Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
