"You made a 'deal'. With who? And for what? Still doesn't change the fact that you're a heretic."

Dain walks down the hallway, his chain mail making a quiet slinking sound as he does. He points his axe at the strange man with the curved sword,

"Who is this, Jon? A friend of yours?"

Jonathan looks up at Dain. "You could say that. He's a heretic; a major one. He's the priest of a religion that worships a so-called god named Rthulu; I saw the chapel in Normandor myself. A few months back, I found him in the Wilds; he unintentionally exposed himself to me and I attempted to take him captive and he escaped. He told me that he had a very, very high bounty on his head at the time - he now says it was removed, somehow. He's also dislikes the Holy Oren Empire in general. In short? He's a priest of a heretical religion and an enemy of Oren."

Baron Parizal Falding strolls around Arethor. Eventually he found his way to the keep. After walking inside he begins to hear yelling. He draws his sword and shield and heads towards the shouting. He sees the Teutonic Order about to arrest a man. Not wanting to get in trouble he watches.

"Hmph. Same difference." He says flatly before looking up at Dain, awaiting a response.

Dain looks to the heretic and then to Jon. He strokes his beard for a few moments, thinking.

"The Emperor would not pardon him without reason. Perhaps he is changing his ways. I want an explanation from him about all this before I make any kind of decision I might end up regretting."

*Quavinir looks at Jonathan with a twinge of anger in his eyes.

"no! not zee same deeference! i just said my only problem vith Oren was some knights, people like you guys, no offense, but you guys literaly kill people because they don't believe in your religeon, seriously, knights liked you destroyed everything i have dear to me, but i'm past that now. other than that, i don't realy have any other problems with Oren, i have friends here, and its one of the only places i see my kin. now, could you please stop pointing your weapons at me, so i can go back home to Normandor?"

"That's up to Dain, and depends on whether or not you still hold your heretical beliefs. You didn't say the Emperor pardoned your bounty - you said a guard did because he 'owed you some favors', correct...?"

"not just a guard, a few guards, and a few elven nobles. Now as for my heretical beliefs, there staying the way they are, and they have been the same for over twenty years, vahriin, I just built the chapels in Normandor, I really have no reason to change my beliefs, and my bounty was put on my head because i was the last priest of a ancient religion, and knights like you really wanted it to finally die out, but that obviously failed.."]

Dain smirks, chuckling a bit before speaking.

"You believe that because a "few guards" pardoned you that you are cleansed of your trespassing... And now you admit your ways are heretical? Not only that but you aide our enemies in Normandor. You have condemned yourself."

He then turns to Jon.

"Purge the heretic. Have Eric and Maur aide you if you need it... Don't do it here, I don't want the carpets getting dirty."

*Quavinir looks at the knights readying there weapons, and looks around a bit nervously, and does the equavilent to a facepalm, not liking the word "Purge" being used in the sense of his own demise, nor liking the fact that they were even using the word "Heretic" wrong.

No! don't purge! bad idea, i do not veesh to be purged, just vant to go home, eat some carrots, and go to bed, ok? zee reigeous fate of elves does not concern you, no? nor does eet matter that, a ill, crippled, Northerner not go home to wallow een zee feelth vith zee elves? i just vant to go home..and as for being your enemies, i'm not, im a much as your enemy as Jonathan is to you, ok?

Devin Ryder carefully saunters into hallway outside Embassy. Normally Arethor was a bit high-brow for his taste, but today he was here on business. Immediately after rounding the corner, he spots the scuffle down the hall.

"Faechken," he cusses under his breath.

Looks like his offer will have to wait a bit longer. He nods at Baron Parizal as he retrieves a small book from his vest pocket. As calmly as possible, he opens the book, and begins checking over it's contents as the fight unfolds before him.

"You're a damn heretic and you will die like one!" Jonathan attempts to throw a punch; after doing so, he would attempt to grab ahold of the heretic. "Resist, and I'll make sure it's worse."
