I always hear the words, "LotC is not a democracy." That saying is spot on. I feel as if the staff does not look into the communities opinions as a whole. I believe they take what they want to hear and try to sugar coat the rest. The community is obviously unhappy with the server at the moment so why would you just ignore their cries for change? Without the community you all would have no server to run and then you will be looking back and kicking yourself for not listening to them while you had the chance. I highly suggest you listen to us and negotiate something that benefits all sides.

I would like to start my argument by saying congrats Serenity, you were one of my favorite GM's. Now back to the argument. I don't mean to be rude I respect your decision but I don't think it was right to make someone who has been on the server a little longer than me a GM I think more people know me then the new GM. However I am happy for her and wish her the best of luck, I think this was a decision that wasn't initiated at the right time. I think that everyone is mad because it is well unfair that someone we've never heard of is GM.

He actually did step down I gave him the choice he wasn't active enough I did give him the option of carrying on as GM but he has just decided to leave LOTC all together it seems he lost his lust for it.

Look back at what you wrote once again, you even say it yourself that you forcefully removed him, you gave him an ultimatum and gave Tyrion GM as a consolation prize.

There is nothing wrong with SerenityOnyx in being an admin. If people are leaving because someone was made an admin, that's the player's decision, not the admin's fault.

Not necessarily because she has been made an Admin, this has been going on for longer than you think, as I mentioned before, the controversy around her is unavoidable and if the community does not like what the staff does, they can just pack their things and leave, I believe that the majority forgets that someone actually holds some emotional value to LoTC, this isn't simply an MMO where you cancel your subscription.

Nothing wrong with Dusk being an Admin? Well, I can find many reasons. 1) I've heard number of times that she has spawned spiders onto of people whilst they Role-play. 2) I've also heard she went behind the GM's, and Shift's back then tried to remove the Kharajyr. 3) I've barely heard of her doing modreqs, and when I have, people have told me she couldn't be bothered to do it right, the person wanted RP and she wanted to do it OOC. This isn't someone I want to see on the Admin team. I believe that there are MANY more people out there who deserve the job more. Sorry Dusk, I believe you are a great person and all, but I just think that you shouldn't be with the Admins.

Er, I've been here since the very first day of LOTC and I'm not a GM. Length of stay has little to do with it. And frankly the staff have said that GM choosing is not a popularity contest, so why are you saying the GMs have to be people everyone knows?

Just throwing this out there. Unfortunately I have no proof, but I've had GMs spawn zombies on me and strike me with lightning, not to mention stalk me with /md. I don't hate them because of this. I think it's kinda funny.

Wow, guys. There's seriously no need to ***** about this at all. Some members of the community might dislike some of the changes, but please grow up with the "Who's Rhia?" comments and the like. I didn't know who Dusk was when she was made GM, I didn't know Mogroka much when he was made GM, I didn't know Roze or Schwaan when they were made GM's..

If people don't like what they hear, deal with the fact they're going to complain or at least voice their problems. In this case, they may also be implying to get their opinion across. Yes, there is a need to whine about it, it's human nature. If you don't like it, you're going to say things about it.

I'm sure at least one person in the US disliked having Obama as president. I'm also sure they complained about it.

If you live in America, freedom of speech. Deal with it, whether you like it or not. Complaining going to happen. I have no clue who Rhia is either, all I can hope is that (she?) will do some good for the server, along with Jroy.

This is besides the point. There will be complaining, deal with it. Opinions will be stated, not everyone is going to join your "side", unless you're a tyrant forcing it upon the people. I'd like to think LOTC hasn't become that.

Support goes out to both of them. They're both extremely mature and level headed individuals that will not fail to disappoint. Point the favoritism all you want. It may be true but I'm sure they'll do an amazing job anyways!

As for Dusk, anyone who goes out of their way to talk to her for a minute will find that she's an adorable girl who's extremely kind hearted and only wants the best for the server.

Just watch for now and you can make posts when Dusk spawn a million diamonds for me, Rhia crashes the server spawning in slimes and Jroy teleports the Silverblade all around 3.0 you can complain to your hearts content.

1- You have heard.

2- She did not go behind anyone's back to remove any race, it was a idea that was made by the lore-team which I am the Head Admin of and I know of it.

3- You might perhaps have the wrong understanding of what a Admin dose, and Admin dose not deal with players directly, an Admin is one that works with staff not with players, if you did not want Dusk dealing with players than this would be a good point to come across because she no longer well she only deals with staff.

There is still the issue of libel the accusations must carry weight and evidence behind them all of what I've seen generally is "I heard that this guy heard that that person heard that this happened ban this GM".

So the alternate being I let him keep admin for life regardless if he is active or does anything? sounds very anti remove useless people many people ask about. I gave him the choice he could give a reason why he was inactive, become active or become GM he choose to step down, he then left not much later I still havn't gotten round to removing his GM status.

I am not exactly for a few of these decisions, but why don't we see how they all do before we start whining about them. I am not too happy with LotC at the moment, but I will not say anyone will be a bad admin/GM before I even see what they have to offer. I wish all of you good luck and I hope you can prove us all wrong because that would benefit the server greatly. If a staff member does well then that means the server is doing well and in the end that is really all that matters.
