Aedric Ulfhaedyn looks up from his feet after Harrion has left. He stares at Torrhen with hate directly in the eye.

"The Norsemen remember. You will rue this day you take that seat. I will throw up /every/ obstacle in your path. I /will/ make your life hell."

Aedric Ulfhaedyn then stands up, and points a finger at Torrhen,

"You killed my firstborn. This is blood, Torrhen. We will not forget your stained sword."

With that said, Aedric turns on his heel, shouldering his way through the sea of Adunians and Elendil guards back to Castle Edward.

At such a violent outburst the shadows of the background seem to pulse, as each agent of the Inquisition tenses. The masked figure from before takes a few steps forward, just enough to reveal himself.

"I would not overly worry about the Ulfhaedyn, Lord Elendil. The Inquisition will not tolerate such infighting amidst Oren's factions. I would ask that you merely guard yourself and do not strike againt him. We shall keep an eye on him. His capabilities as leader of the vanguard may be up to par, but his temperment when dealing with such... Delicate issues as politics does not correlate... Especially after you slew his firstborn."

Thomas slowly walks out of the building, now starting to wonder whether he made the right choice. He comforts himself, thinking that if he had sided with Harrion, he would still have decided to stop going for Lord and that then Torrhen would have been angry at him. But then he thinks of Thorenir and Caellach, and how he has ruined his reputation with both of them. He also thinks of how Torrhen had killed a man's first-born child, making him think that backing Torrhen might have been the wrong choice. As he walks on, he tries to comfort himself again, thinking that Torrhen probably had a very good reason for the murder. His mind keeps going back and forth, between thinking that he had done the right thing, and thinking that he had not. When he finally reaches his home, he sits down on his bed and continues to ponder on it.

"Aye, Inquisitor. We are not in any place to attack as it is, so we must hunker down and heal the open wounds left by those who opposed me." Torrhen gives him an affirmative nod.

"Ser Hanrahan, I still want you to speak to the Thanes, see to it they are aware of our dire situation." He says gruffly, looking to Hanrahan. "I want Lochlannach ready for raids, if Ulfhaedyn is as brash as I fear. He'll attack without a doubt. We only need to worry about keeping him out, and we leave the politics to the Inquisitors and those Aedric doesn't want to gut."
