Resolution With Oren

Kolyat approaches the notice board, a note in his hand. He carefully removes a thin nail and hammer the note to the board for all to see. He steps back a pace, a sigh escaping his tired frame. A small smile paints his face as he walks away. 

 

 

This document shall serve to publicly outline the peaceful agreement between the Princedom of Malinor and the Holy Oren Empire.

 

1)  All public documents shall be correct in information and beneficial to amiable relations between the Princedom of Malinor and the Holy Oren Empire.

 

2) The Militaric forces of the Princedom of Malinor shall remain solely for defensive purposes. The militaric forces of the Holy Oren Empire shall make no aggressive actions towards the Holy Prince of Malinor, or the law abiding citizens within.

 

3)  Any criminals seeking refuge in either the Princedom of Malinor or the Holy Oren Empire shall be deported to the location their crime was committed, within either the Holy Oren Empire or the Princedom of Malinor.

 

4) Any citizen of either nation plotting to, or found to be performing terrorist, or seditious acts against either nation will be seen as a traitor, and dealt with accordingly.

 

Any citizen still with questions, concerns or whom is merely seeking advice may feel free to contact any of the High Council relating such topics.

Azel approaches the sign in silence, he reads it over multiple times before nodding his head and stepping back allowing others to read it. Many thoughts race through his head on the matter and he realizes that this may in the end prove beneficial if the other Elves put effort into keeping this peace. For once it seems he was right and the other Elves may actually have some respect held down for him, if not he can just go back home to Angel. With a heavy sigh he shrugs and walks off.

Drelas looks at the sign, his obsidian skin almost bathed in sweat, his eyes teeming with rage. He puts his head down, before an insane giggle is heard, just looking audaciously at the sign. Shouting out in anger to the entire city, his voice loud, boisterous.

 

"We surrender to the mortals, to those who do nothing but go to war?! WE SURRENDER?! Are you all mad! We can't sign a treaty with them, they'll still kill our people! They call use whoresons, they try to make examples of us, when we've done nothing wrong!.."

 

He looks about, growling. Before roaming off, putting his head down, and spits upon the Malanorian ground in disgust.

Verden notices the board's new addition on his routine walk to Malinor and strides toward it curiously. He reads over the lines quickly but understandingly, nodding his head several times through the words before he turns to the others at the board and speaks, "This may be the best solution for your people. I pray that Godfrey falls back on his lies and acknowledges this resolution before more should suffer to the conflict."

Goroth stops at this poster looking over it. He sighs deeply in discontent before saying to himself,

 

"Seems my reinforcements were unneeded afterall... They shall stay to ensure protection..."

Telinir's eyes scan across the page, not sure of what to feel.

"Well... I do hope this means there won't be a war... thank goodness for that."

Quavinir reads the note and frowns, and than a look of fear envelopes his face.   Bloody Oren counts me a criminal..."  He says to himself. He than runs rather quickly away towards his home.

Danle Kollur notices the changes to the wall and reads over it. "Maybe I don't have to worry about those humans randomly killing me for being in the wrong place now." He shrugs as he continues his wanderings of the elven lands.
