Kaiser 2347 Share Posted January 20, 2013 Ebs is right, we hold no power. Well.... Well ya know... no, no we don't, not in this situation at least....
Temp 2006 Share Posted January 20, 2013 I seriously doubt a single member of staff can force the entire staff to fall apart. In the event that a single member of staff causes the entire staff to fall apart, is it the fault of the individual for doing something? Or the fault of the group, for not handling it? In the event that a single member of staff causes the entire staff to fall apart, is it the fault of the individual for doing something? Or the fault of the group, for not handling it? From your statement, you think it is whole group. But, there is the question, once someone gets so powerful, is there anything the group can do? The answer, many times, is no. You only have to look to history to see this.

Viscen 356 Share Posted January 20, 2013 This has nothing to do with admins growing corrupt with power & etc. A dispute was had over the handling of an issue pertaining to LotC, in which two Admins disagreed with Hawk representing the server's interests in a potentially legal manner. The administration will post a more "official" explanation soon.

The administration will post a more "official" explanation soon. Hopefully it will be more satisfying than previous "official" explanations have been. I am quite concerned that a staff member, former or current, gave out my email to another server without asking me. Honestly, it is all on the Staff's shoulder's now, it was not the players who screwed up this time.

Sultan 3953 Share Posted January 20, 2013 I never reprimanded him or forced him to step down or even demoted him, he just quit the chat after I told him it is not his job to speak on behalf of the LOTC Administration, as Danny is the Admin in-charge of such talks with others and the community itself and he should have contacted Danny and let Danny handle it instead of going and making trouble and issues with other people outside of LOTC and speaking about legal disputes while he is just a Game Master. Simply put it we have Administration for a reason we can not have individual Game Masters going about handling such issue the pertains to the server's legal matters, as if they are speaking for the Administration and of-course not in a rude or threatening manner or even without a level headed opinion I am not saying that Hawk did but from the little chat logs I received it seems to have been very heated and not what we intend. http://gyazo.com/86d2b9e8665c1875d969036dcb9fff93 And on the Email issue Danny shall make a post as soon as possible.

Song Druid 1486 Share Posted January 20, 2013 It's incredibly disheartening to have misinformation thrust into public eye that stirs the pot. Obviously seeing the whole story there was nothing done wrong, simply he overreacted, but now because he geared his leaving thread directly in an antagonistic way to imply that Mogroka had thrust him out, everyone immediately believes it (even I I admit). This is why for the most part we should always make sure we give the whole story if we are going to post iffy affairs publicly, it could come back and bite you in the ass. Sultan 3953 Share Posted January 20, 2013 Discuss your little wars and raids else where. Men are trying to drink milk and discuss business Now, for the post Mog made. I can see it's not your fault, but nor is it Hawks. Mog.... That's why I did not ''Punish him'' just tried to tell him not to do what he did, as he neither hold a position to do so or assigned to do so by the Administration. TheRoyalOnion(Aris) 101 Share Posted January 20, 2013 That wasn't even close to a raid. It was a full blown war, with men screaming 'burn everything' 'kill them all' and the like. If you don't want to be accidently killed, don't hang out in a battlefield that is filled with 35+ armored men. Not to mention, the knock out-plugin was on. So I'm not exactly sure why that kill is bothering you so much. http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/80236-the-final-horn-blows/ (The battle/war post) Off topic guys, anyway. I feel like people get offended then storm off and leave the server because they cant work out their problems with others. I don't know all of the details to this but it's my opinion from what I've seen over the past few months.

On a side note: I did not forthright agree Hawk was right and you were a bad guy of sorts, but I apologies as I did beleive Hawk slightly.
