This is long over due and i feel its time to let you all know a lil about me. Especially since every time i randomly join a TS channel i get players asking me hundreds of questions about myself; like i'm some ghost.

So my name is Valentino. I am half Spanish and half Mexican; i do not know how to speak spanish at all. Took it for 3 years in high school, and i haven't retained a single speck of the knowledge. In fact, no one in my house nor grandparents know spanish. It is quite embarrassing.

I'm from California, Sacramento to be exact. I am 22 and engaged to a wonderful and beautiful woman. We have had our rough patches and have stuck through it all. Just last week her mom, who lives with me, passed away from her diabetes at 45. It was traumatizing as i watched my lady try to bring back her mother and the paramedics when they arrived. January 13 was our most recent speed bumb, the death of her mother. But through this, me moving 400miles away for college, a lengthy breakup, to moving in with eachother at my parents, her supporting me in my recover, me buying a house at 20, 2 labs, them having puppies, and finally to me proposing to her in Feb of 2012 and us getting married this april; we have been through it all.

So yeah, im pretty young and owning a house at my age is a big responsibility. At the time i worked a ware house job, that plus my good credit, job history, and low market prices was able to purchase a home a few miles away from both our parents. In my family it was nice to accomplish something on my own. I come from a family of 2 sisters and one brother, me being the second older. My sister has a masters, and i am working on my bachelors then law school. But in my house, we were taught at a young age that hard work is the key to life; hard work and doing something you love. My family has done so for 3 generations, building a pool construction empire that plastered and remodeled pools throughout CA and NV for almost 70 years. Then it collapsed with the founders death, my Grandfather, and with that the family pulled together to continue under a new name. So now that is what i do. I work very hard labored construction as well as a sales rep for the company. The pay is a struggle, but struggling makes one appreciate the surplus when it comes. Right now thats every summer when work booms, then cold and slow winters. I grew up with this work mentality; of working hard, being honest, and not putting personal gain before anything else. And it has served me well so far.

Now to wrap this up; i don't play many games. Im very busy and LOTC takes up all of any spare time i would have. I enjoy snowboarding, wake boarding, surfing, fishing, and just laying in bed all day never taking off my PJs. I got into MC, because my favorite artist at the time was posting of its creation. So i joined the bagwagoon and began playing. I knew nothing of cheats or hacks so when i built my first massive train station and structures; without any spawning; i was impressed. Then i seen that there were easier ways and lost interest in single player. Thats when i started searching for servers. My first was REIs minimap server; i was banned after a week for testing to see if places and chests were locked. I know, bad bad me. After i checked the top server list and found a server called "Tales of Mel-Lenxia. The first and number 1 RP server". This was back in 2009-2010. They charged a $10 fee to join, an app, and bam you were Rping. This was my very first RP experience so i made a basic character and did basic RP. After a while, i developed and joined the antagonist force. I was chosen and eventually climbed the IG ranks and then became an Admin. From there i ran the antagonist of this server for several months. But with the release of skyrim and new updates of bukkit and MC, combined with our personalized plugins; our numbers were lots to LOTC and other RP servers/games.

So as i road Mel-lenxia to its bitter and slow end; sinking with the ship. Freema5 and some other fellow mel-lenxians invited me to play LOTC. I maybe RP'd and saw them ingame for a week. After that i set out to explore and learn the map, RPing with new people and trying to get used to such a large community. I donated hoping for some kind of unity or relationship development within the server but nothing happened. So i continued to RP, and weeks later we switched maps to aegis. From here within the first week i was approached and asked to be a Global Moderator. I showed some of my past works, and was recognized from when LOTC was first developing and sought advice from us.

And since then i have been a GM for this server. Never leaving, slowly adapting to the changes. Now i lead the Magic Team and have started a major project with them. I also lead the Guides; which i also began changes for them as well. On top of these two teams, i am in fact the 3rd longest serving staff member, to not go inactive, quit, leave, then comeback. The only two in front of me are Mogroka and Tythus. And i do pat myself on the back for this. I have had many challenges in life during the past year. And yet i always find solace and serenity in the chaos that is constantly in works on this server; causing me to get passed the "burned out" stage, especially since i went from a year on one server to the start of another.

So at this time in life, my wedding is on hold due to my fiancés mothers death and the finances that now have arisen because so; such has medical insurance, funeral costs, caring for a new dog (her mothers pug), ect. As sad as it is for me, as long as i get to lay next to her each night then i am happy. Speaking of which, its almost 4am and i think i'll do just that.

If anyone ever needs anything feel free to PM me via forums or in game. I enjoy being of service to such a dynamic community.
